Chris Johns, Cello, has nearly 15 years of experience in providing music for special events of all types, including, but not limited to: weddings, receptions, cocktail hours, memorials, funerals, and private parties

Having performed for approximately 500 weddings in the last 10 years, Johns is well equipped to handle almost every situation or request.

Business Owner

Chris Johns, cello is currently serving as the Cello Instructor, Coordinator of the Student Affairs, and Coordinator of the Community Music Academy, for The University of North Carolina Wilmington Music Department. He also maintains a private teaching studio, an active performance schedule as a soloist, chamber musician, and as a member of the Tallis Chamber Orchestra, the Long Bay, and Wilmington Symphony Orchestras. Johns has also been featured as a soloist with the Tallis Chamber Orchestra and the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra. Johns performs on a cello made in Paris, 1912, by Charles Brugere.
