Best Western Plus Wilmington Inn

They charged my credit card after I had cancelled my reservation. I was not given a condemnation number when I cancelled… there was a hurricane that hit the area at the time. Even when I provided phone records to prove I had called and spoken with someone days before we were expected to arrive they still would not refund my money. Even the corporate off wasn’t any help. Best Western was given a bad name in my book after this! Hyatt here we come!

Garbage play, if you reservations for 3days, but you have to go in second day, then check out, they said you must be tell them before 24 hours. if not still charge for 3 days… too horrible! I will never go this place again…

Moldy mold moldiest place, I can’t breathe. I switched rooms still moldier yet. I’m not paying for this. I can’t leave now but at 6 am we out. The room looked nice

We took a day trip to the beach and then decided to spend the night. It was getting late and we were hungry and decided to search from places that had vacancy for a single night. We tried several «non» name-​brand places but they were either booked or did not allow single night stay. We also did want to spend a fortune. We saw the Best Western and decided to give it a go based on photos from the website. They are located about 7 miles form the beach, however I think paying $ 200 a night is a little ridiculous based on what you get. Don’t get me wrong the place is nice and the staff is friendly. I just feel that places I have stayed at before offer more for the money I am spending. They are charging beach prices with no beach. If they charged about $ 125 a night it would be more in line. Doubt we would ever stay here again as we will plan better next time.

First, the good: the people at the front desk were very nice. Except when I mentioned that my room had no towels in it, at which point the woman abruptly told me I could come down and get them myself. Also, I didn’t encounter rodents or bedbugs.
As for the bad: the bathroom door didn’t close, the sink’s hot and cold water were reversed, the air conditioner made the room smell like mildew, and I may have come close to electrocuting myself trying to plug my phone charger into a loose outlet.
In summary, I guess you get what you pay for.

the nicest hotel room
I’ve ever stayed in. went to the marine ball and got the hot tub kind suite. HUGE hot tub, the biggest one we have been in out of all the other hotel hot tub suites we’ve stayed in. super clean and a huge room, extra comfy beds and nice tv. the maids were very sweet and were so blown away by my evening gown and his dress blues they made us feel like movie stars. this hotel def made the occasion very special and they lived up to every expectation. Whenever I stay at another hotel, I’m going to make sure it’s another best western plus!

Terrible stay ! Got bit by unknown bugs !
