History
Established in 2013.
The founder of Austin’s is a 7th generation Texan who has lived in North Carolina, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and Belize, Central America. In his travels, he picked up many culinary nuggets and infuses those in his menu. It doesn’t hurt that his mother was a Texas State Fair cooking champion. At Austin’s, you’ll find an ecclectic mix of items including traditional American fare, but also incluences from Latin America, Asian cuisine, and more.

Business Owner
Steven Austin Stovall was born and raised in East Texas, which geographically, is a confluence of Texas BBQ, Mexican cooking, and Cajun cuisine. This variety had a unique influence on him as did his mother, who was a Texas State Fair cooking champion, winning Best of Show. Having lived in numerous places — including Puerto Rico and Belize — it is easy to see how his love of good food, made with fresh ingredients permeates the Austin’s menu. In addition to owning Austin’s, Stovall is a professor of business at nearby Wilmgton College, where he teaches entrepreneurship, human resources management, and business strategy.
