The great things about 1051 — It’s new, sparkling clean, upscale. Hairdressers rock, especially Alicia and her assistant, Allie. Alicia is a real find, though I hate to tell the world about her because it’s already hard to get in to see her! She’s as good as the best in San Francisco, where I used to live. The whole salon is sophisticated (elegant, everyone wears black, comfy but not overdone). Just had a nice pedicure with Kathryn (only downside is she doesn’t take cards, only cash or check).

I am on vacation in Wilmington just for a week and wanted a wax. It took a while to look for a place and I went here with hesitation that there weren’t any reviews. I am happy to report that Linzy was great and I felt comfortable at 1051. The salon was clean and everyone was friendly. Considering going back again this week …
