Electrolysis is a permanent method of removing unwanted hair from your face and body. The treatment begins with a free consultation which includes a small sampling of hair removal. During the 45 minute consultation, we’ll discuss how electrolysis works, the frequency of your visits, what to expect after treatment and lastly answer any questions you have. Our goal is to deliver the best hair removal option for you making you look and feel more confident.

We are state licensed Electrologists who are trained to perform electrolysis safely and effectively through a series of treatments.

History

Established in 2013.

After 20 years with a successful career in the corporate world, a job change forced Lourdes to ask herself the tough questions. She knew it was time for change, but wasn’t sure what to do. Through the guidance of a close friend who specializes in custom wigs, Lourdes began thinking about other services that are needed by cancer patients. She saw the difference her friend was making in the lives of these women who were cancer survivors and wanted to offer another service that could help them. This corporate-​trained and masters-​educated dynamo saw the fit for Electrolysis. One of the strange side effects of cancer treatment is the growth of unwanted facial hair. As a former Electrolysis client, Lourdes decided to pursue the field of Electrolysis and after completing an intensive training program she became a licensed Electrologist in 2013. She opened her own treatment center in 2014, sharing space with North Shore Plastic Surgeon Dr. Elysa Fisher in Wilmette.

Business Owner

Lourdes Cornelius is a licensed Electrologist. Her professionalism and strict sterilization process will leave you feeling confident that the treatment you are receiving meets state and health requirements. As a member of the American Electrology Association and Electrology Association of Illinois, she continues to learn about any new and upcoming practices. She is a graduate of Accurate Academy of Electrology in Hinsdale. Lourdes completed her undergraduate studies at DePaul University and obtained her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
