Vaught Events

Hiring Amy as our DOC was the best $ 700 I’ve ever spent! She was truly fabulous on the day of the wedding. For instance, we forgot to order a corsage for my husband’s step-​mom so Amy whipped up a corsage from the toss bouquet! She made sure we were on time, fed, and informed. I was very calm, surprisingly, on my wedding day and I owe a lot of it to Amy! She did this all while 8 months pregnant too! There are so many little details that go into a successful wedding day — hire Amy, and enjoy your special day! You deserve it.

Amy I love you! We hired Amy for our Day of Coordination for our wedding a few weeks ago. I live out of state so I had to put my faith in recommendations as I wasn’t able to meet with Amy until three days before my wedding (totally my fault). She came highly recommended so I hired her. She is easy to get a hold of if you have any questions or concerns leading up to the day of.
She met with us at our reception before our rehearsal and we dropped off all of our wedding related stuff (menus, placecards, guestbooks, programs, unity candle… etc.) This was great because we didn’t have to worry about any of it the day of. It was all there and set up. She created schedules for myself and the bridal party. She was around for the setup of the church and the reception and she was in contact with all of my other vendors. She was at the hotel where I was getting ready right on time and made sure that everything ran smoothly from the second she got there to the end of the night. I am so grateful for all of her help and the fact that we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING on our big day. She made the entire evening a no-​stress event. We enjoyed the entire thing.
She was also one of the more reasonably priced DOC’s that I had found. Amy is a friendly, reliable and fantastic DOC. Trust me. Hire her.

Amy was great to work with and I was really happy with her services and glad we spent the money on a DOC.
Amy came up with a timeline, was at rehearsal and all day with us the day of the wedding, she coordinated the ceremony, oversaw setups at reception, cleaned up, packaged and delivered our gifts, card box and some décor to our home at the end of the night, she brought the top tier of the cake (which I totally forgot about) and put it in the freezer!
She made sure we were being taken care of, ran interference with vendors, paid the vendors, made sure the guests were taken care of, assisted with cake cutting etc etc. When the candy buffet ran out she moved some take out containers to the sweet table so that guests could take that home too.
I’ve got several compliments on Amys professionalism during the wedding. She was an absolute pleasure but also was on top of her game and did what she needed to get the job done.
I highly recommend Amy, I was able to enjoy my day without a care in the world… she took care of everything!

My husband wasn’t sure at first if getting a coordinator for the day of the wedding was worth it — and now he says he can’t imagine if we didn’t have Amy there! So many little things came up on the day of the wedding, but I didn’t have to worry about any of it. Amy handled things so efficiently and professionally. I don’t think we would have enjoyed the wedding day as much as we did had she not been there.

Amy and her staff were absolute life savers! We had a very complicated wedding/​reception plan that included nearly a dozen vendors, a room change over, two shuttles, and a slew of do-​it-​yourself items that needed to be set-​up throughout the night. We also had a very large wedding party, over 250 wedding guests, and a few complicated family dynamics with which to contend. Amy and her team made sure everything happened on time and in a professional manner, all while keeping the details from getting in the way of an absolutely perfect day. Amy and her team were well-​worth every penny, and I have recommended them to everyone I know.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Anika from Vaught Events was to work with. We booked Vaught Events very late in our planning. We had too many vendors to deal with making sure everyone/​everything arrived at our venue and was in place. It was one of the best decisions we made. Because it was late in the game, we didn’t get to take advantage of all of Vaught Events’ services like creating timelines and prolonged contact with vendors. What we did get was a ton of great advice pre wedding and peace of mind coordinating our vendors day of. Anika was very hands on. While getting ready at our hotel, she delivered our grooms cake, picked up lunch for the bridesmaids, delivered flowers and had a kit that literally had anything you would need. While we took pictures around the city, she went to the venue and along with the caterer and made sure everything was delivered and set up properly. Anika stayed until the very end of the wedding and coordinated taxis for our guests, got all our personal belongings to the hotel, etc. She was extremely helpful and very sweet. We would recommend her to anyone.

Amy was well worth more than three times what she charged us. Even my dad, who wondered why I’d ever hire a DOC, was raving about her for weeks after our wedding. No detail went unnoticed by this woman!
Just a sampling of the countless things she did to make our day easier:
–Met with me ahead of time to come up with a day-​of timeline
–Kept the church coordinators away from me (since they were evil & I’d asked her to)
–Fixed corsages that were stabbing people
–Provided a bottle of water for me
–Made sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there
We didn’t have to worry about a single thing all day. If we were wondering about something, all we had to do was ask Amy, and it was taken care of. She was the glue that held my wedding day together.
