We specialize in 30 minute oil change service which includes a Free 10 Point Inspection. We offer full service repairs except for body and major transmission work. We offer services by appointment for service work and give you a specific time we will get your car in for oil changes, tire work and other minor repairs. We also offer online appointment booking for oil changes at our website.

History

Established in 1986.

QTA was previously located in Darien until 2006. Current location was opened in May of 2006. Darien location closed in 2008 and all operations were moved to Willowbrook location. QTA has had the same owner throughout the years and several long term employees. Every employee is trained to provide the best possible service for our many customers. QTA is also an authorized Bridgestone /​Firestone.

Really used to like going here but generally only get consistent courtesy out of Jimmy. There was an incident where they stripped the lock on my wheel and after I took car to my dealer and waited for a couple of hours finally the dealer said it’s stripped so badly that it needs to be drilled out. And QT broke the key for my wheel lock by using it with the gun instead of manually. So they stripped the lock, cost me couple hours of back and forth, cost my dealer shop time, broke my key, and never owned the error. Jimmy said he would work with me. My wife called to arrange for pick up and spoke to Mark who said it’s going to be $ 100. She objected and said it wasn’t our fault. He said ok whatever and HUNG UP ON MY WIFE. That’s not acceptable. Shame Jimmy didn’t answer when she called. But thanks to Mark I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Quality Tire is the only place to take your vehicle if you want excellent service and affordable prices. Definitely the only place in the area to recommend to friends!

I learned my lesson since I took my vehicle to another shop and soon realized the work was done incorrectly! Dave and his staff were quick in finding out what was wrong with my suspension and were able to remedy the issues. If you want your work done right the first time, I would highly recommend Quality Tire.

Battery dies on my 2009 Lexus… called Quality tire and someone was there in 5 minutes[ [jimmy]…he recharged the battery and i drove to Quality and purchased a new battery… entire process took less than 45 minutes… great service and fair prices.

We were heading out of town when we got a flat tire getting on the highway. Put spare on, drove to Quality Tire, and they got a new tire on our car within an hour (old tire was screwed — ran over a box cutter & shredded the steel belts!)
Can’t thank them enough for squeezing us in so quickly on a busy day & letting us start our weekend getaway — great job by a great business!

We really miss being able to come here for the work on our cars. They’re simply too far away now for the regular maintenance our vehicles need. We were going here for years and really got to know some of the staff. Love that they had free wifi long before many other types of shops provided it. They always did great work and we never had any problems with drop offs or getting work done. On occasion, there might be a situation where a part or recommended tire simply wasn’t on hand or there supplier couldn’t get it to them on time, so getting work done wasn’t always completely smooth. I still have their number programmed in my phone, and they were just as helpful as I remember. I needed information on a part identification while I was at one of those DIY auto parts shops. Jimmy promptly verified some info for me from their reference books, which prevented me from installing the wrong item! We miss these guys and their crew there — they have a nice waiting area, and always took care of our cars without us ever feeling ripped off.

They took great care of my car when I got an oil change and were very friendly to me. I added some extra services and parts and it was so reasonably priced. I recently took my car here again to be looked at and they spent a great deal of time trying to figure out what was wrong and gave me their advice for free. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Free wifi in the cozy waiting room, quick and friendly service, and they didn’t try to over sell me on other products such as air filters, wipers, such and such.
Friendly staff, quick service, and a fair price. Definitely worth recommending! Don’t forget to schedule online for a $ 5 discount!

Update:
Last oil change went well. They’ll ask you if you want to change your cabin air filter, if you have any knowledge of your car or any amount of hands-​on capability just Google this and handle it yourself.
Oil changes are reasonably priced, $ 25 as a walk in or $ 20 if you schedule online. Your car uses synthetic oil? They’ve got you covered at around $ 40. Not a total steal, but last time I shopped synthetic $ 40 covered pretty much materials — let alone the time to do the work. Plus, you get the extra miles between changes (6000+ depending on your preferences and how you drive).

Took my car to Quality Tire and Auto to fix a flat tire. I had purchased my tires thru Tire Rack and they had installed them. They fixed the flat, found a screw in the tread, but they gouged my rim. Immediately brought it to their attention. Manager looked at it and just blew it off indicated that it was road rash. I pointed out to him that it wasn’t there before I gave them my car and he asked for proof. Give me a break. Stay away from this place. Wouldn’t go back for all the tea in China!

My family and, more recently, I have taken our cars here for about the past ten or so years, first to their original location a little further north on the west side of Kingery Highway (Route 83) and now at their location behind Dunkin Donuts.
They’ve always provided quick and reliable service without a hard sell, and alerted me to problems before they become serious. They’ve always corrected the problem that was brought in to them at a good price.
I’ll continue to take my car here as long as it’s convenient for me to do so.
