Sheffield’s Pump Service provides 24 hr service for Levy, Alachua, and Marion counties. We have a full line of pumps and tanks for your well water system. Sheffield’s also provides FREE water test to evaluate your water, so we can taylor a softener or conditioner system to you for the quality of water you desire.

History

Established in 1977.

Delma Sheffield started Sheffield’s Well Drilling in 1977 and served the Tri-​county area until 2000, when he turned the business over to his oldest son, Ken Sheffield, who has kept the business in the family and is now Sheffield’s Pump Service. I do not drill anymore but provide 24hr service and have New Wave Water Solutions conditioners and softeners.

I have worked on water wells form the age of 12, when school was out I found my Dad, wherever he was working and finished the day out. As I grew up the same was true after football practice. After High School I became an Auto Tech and after work when I was needed I helped work on wells. In 2000 I took over the business and make sure my Dad does anything but work (hunt, fish etc.)
