Established in 1910.

Williston’s Ford dealership is one of the oldest Ford dealerships in the nation. It was originally established as Stockman Ford Mercury by Mr. Henry (H.W.) Stockman. A family owned dealership, it had been passed down generation to generation from H.W. Stockman, to Francis Stockman, to Dick Stockman, and finally, to Bruce Stockman. In 2007, after over thirty years at the helm, Bruce Stockman sold the business to partners Ed Steckler of Minot and Jerry Schmidt of Valley City who soon after started doing business as Select Ford Mercury. Three years later, Ford Motor Company dropped their Mercury line of vehicles and the dealership began doing business as Select Ford of Williston.
