Established in 1996.

Phoenix Geeks focus’ on what we do best, helping small business with big business solutions at small business prices. Shawn and Toby recognized the need for small business to have access to a full blown IT department, so they created the Virtual Technology Officer program (VTO). Their staff serves as your IT department. When you sign up with Phoenix Geeks, you are assigned a technician that knows your network. That is who you call to have work on your network, not some dispatcher who relays a call.

In 1997, Dion moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he started the company Phoenix Geeks, LLC. Phoenix Geeks is an onsite technology consulting firm primarily serving Maricopa County, Arizona, but also offering service nationwide.

In 1999 Dion was working with Shawn Railey of Help-​Geek, LLC, on a new major project. Shawn would later become Toby’s partner in Phoenix Geeks, LLC. The project was a vehicle tracking device. The device was a decade ahead of the window of opportunity.
