NEW: Sundae Shots! Just a like a big sundae, only little! And at $ 2.00, you can’t afford NOT to have dessert! Two suggestions: Strawberry Shortcake — homemade pound cake, vanilla ice cream, strawberry syrup and a touch a whipped cream; or Brownie Sundae — homemade brownie, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream. Or use your imagination. We will shrink any sundae you like to shot-size. Oh, YEAH!
Introducing $ 10 Tuesday! We’re trying something new: every Tuesday, nothing on the menu will cost more than $ 10. Pasta A La Mama with Chicken, Steak Salad with Pesto Marinade, Baked Goat Cheese Salad, just for example. $ 10 bucks. So many delicious choices. One more reason to start your week with a meal at Hildebrandt’s.
History
Established in 1927.
Historically just a locals place, recently Hildebrandt’s has come to national attention. They have been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri, «From Mozz to Matzo Balls», in George Motz’ book, «Hamburger America, the 100 Best Burger Joints in America», and named one of New York’s «10 Best Burgers» in the NY Daily News,
Hildebrandt’s is a Long Island landmark, serving the best burgers and fries, Italian specialties, home-made ice cream, hot fudge and butterscotch, Easter candy, and tons of nostalgia. Owned by the Strano family since 1975, and now run by Susan Strano Acosta and her husband Bryan, Hildebrandt’s is a one of a kind, family experience.

Business Owner
Joanne and Alfred Strano bought Hildebrandt’s in 1975 and it has remained a family business ever since. Now run by Susan Strano Acosta and her husband, Bryan, Hildebrandt’s has always been a unique neighborhood destination. Susan and Bryan work hard to make sure that the heavenly burgers and milkshakes you remember enjoying while sitting at the long, marble counter as a kid are just as wonderful now as they were then.
