I went to Conroe with a couple of my friends for a mini vacation. Resort-​Attractions was the only place that was not booked up on boat rentals. We originally rented a pontoon for 13 people, but ended up only having 9 people come. We also came about 20 minutes late. They were very understanding about the time delay and shortage of people. Once we got there, they were very understanding about the time delay and even got us a smaller boat! No problems with the pontoon, it was very smooth and the ride was beautiful. Once we got back to the dock, 2 workers were already there ready to help us get out the boat and clean up all the trash, etc. The only problem I had was the spider webs on some of the boats.

Overall experience was great. When reservations were made, Jim was professional, extremely helpful and willing to work with me on splitting up a 6 hr reservation block, wound up just keeping it for 6 hours straight.
Be sure to arrive early to get lease agreement, waivers & equipment familiarization out of the way. I was there Memorial weekend, so that also led to a line of people picking up boats and jet skis.
Rented the 185 SeaRay. Overall, the boat was in good shape. Little wear and tear, but very happy with the machine. Ran great, came with skis, rope, life vests and unlimited fuel.
5 passengers fit very comfortably along with coolers and tube. (We supplied)

I rented a waverunner and took my wife out for a ride around the south portion of the lake. We had a great time. I found the employee very helpful about using the waverunner and how to recover if ditched or sinking also, the safety equipment (horn, whistle, extinguisher and a map of the area). He did explain the areas we were to stay, so they could keep an eye on us. He also fit us with the proper life jackets. The only complaint is the fuel level sensor was bad so knowing exactly how much fuel it had was unknown. We did check the fuel level prior to leaving (visually).
I would use them again.

I rented a speed boat for my birthday June 2011 from Resort Attractions because they were the cheapest deal on Lake Conroe. I went with a group of 5 people plus the two dogs and we fit in one of the larger boat just fine.
Pros:
The price was fair i guess.
They allowed us to bring both my dogs.
The tube was included.
They refunded us for the hour we were not able to have since the boat stopped running.
Cons:
The boat had a little trouble starting but they said it would be fine.
Our boat broke down… after about an hour and a half our boat broke down and we began floating towards shore. We called then to come tow us but it took a while and I ended up getting sick since it was so windy and lost my lunch.
Finial Word:
I probably wouldn’t rent a boat again. If you decide to, do so for only 2 hours because you’ll be so tired by then anyway. Maybe I’d try jet skies next time.

Family and friends took a pontoon boat out on a half day excursion. Prior to leaving the guys were «nice» enough to switch out our ladder to the type that does not float. That change ended up costing us $ 75 and left us feeling like we had been gamed. To make it worse, we returned a half hour early but there was no offset for that. Bottom line: beware… seems like these guys are looking to make a little more than advertised pricing at their customers expense!

Never thought I would «vaca’ in Conroe, TX but it was very nice. Cool place to take your girl or your family. All patios open up to the lake so when you wake up you can feed the ducks or go fishing!!! Went with my mom and sis, didn’t rent any jet ski stuff just cooked out and chilled, but we enjoyed it.

My friends rented a pontoon boat for eight hours from this company. The guys were really nice, but once we boarded the boat we had to kill numerous spiders. Cob webs all over, some spiders even crawled on us as we left the dock. Lucky we had sandals to kill them. After cutting my foot in the lake, and had a good time we returned the boat. They charged us an additional $ 70 bucks because they say we scratch the blade. Yet we left the boat is better condition. No spiders and we picked up all our trash! Never again will I venture out to this area nor will I do business with these folks. Save your money!

I wrecked a Jet Ski for my birthday.
This review was 5,000 words (way too many in anyone’s opinion) and I feel like I left out some of the stuff you actually need to know, so now I’m redoing it. If you do want some reading material, I’ll send you it, but you have to ask…
The rental place had sent out two search parties, but they failed to find us either time and we were well within the allowed travel area. They told us after the ordeal, that we could have started the Jet Ski without the key by lifting up on the button that the key helps hold up. My sister and I both being completely not gifted in the area of mechanics and engineering never would have considered that, and frankly, I think we both panicked and didn’t even think about trying to manually start it. To make matters worse, the compartment that held the bullhorn behind the seat would not open, so there was no way for me to make enough noise to draw the attention I needed. There was no way for me to open and stay upright on the Jet Ski.
We had to wait around for the rental place to collect their jet ski; when they found it, it was sitting vertical, with the steering column up against the bars being beaten repeatedly thrown against the rocks by the waves. There was a nice sized hole in the plexi glass bottom and had collected a lot of water inside, but due to the large hole, it drained in minutes.
Needless to say, I was thoroughly traumatized by the situation and dreaded when anyone asked me how my birthday went because I could only think about getting the flu and the Jet Ski accident. The damage to the Jet Ski totaled some $ 2,400, but we had to put the original damage estimate on our credit card which was $ 3,500 plus the cost of the 3 rentals. We obviously hadn’t planned for that kind of added cost for our trip and that sucked, but what sucks more is that it has taken them just about 2 months now to give us the remaining $ 1,100 back that wasn’t used for the repair.
I basically own a Jet Ski that I’ll never get to ride. I’m not saying that the owner isn’t a nice guy, because my husband called him today and he was appalled by the fact that we had not yet been reimbursed. However, as we are the only lucky recipients of the freak accident award that they have ever heard of and the fact that the money owed was such a large amount, isn’t this something that demands a little more attention?
I don’t want to scare you all away from riding Jet Skis, but I’d like you to take this away from my story of financial tragedy and emotional distress:
* Don’t go Jet Skiing when the weather is turbulent, especially very windy; this can cause large, choppy waves and increase the likelihood that you will have issues returning to the vessel in case you get tipped over.
*Secondly, I advise you to always wear your life vest since you never really know when something as ridiculous as this will occur and you don’t want to take that chance with your life or the life of a loved one.
*Also, if you are going to engage in water sports, it may help for you to be a strong swimmer as well as how to navigate undertow.
*Always make sure the equipment on your Jet Ski is completely functional i.e. the key having a flotation strap, being able to access the emergency horn and if anything is not right, don’t take it out.
*Consider getting watercraft insurance if you don’t have the funds to pay for damages on the spot. Lastly, before you leave, always ask if there is a way to start the Jet Ski without a key in case of an emergency.
I strongly feel that it was the responsibility of the renters to divulge this information, but they said that they have never had this issue before; plus, they added, that they would not want everyone to know how to start them without keys because they believe theft would increase. I also believe it is their responsibility to lock up their watercraft so that they don’t get stolen without relying on keeping the emergency start information a secret.
All in all, this wasn’t a bad place to rent from; we just had a really bad experience. It was all the small things that added up that created disaster in the end. I suppose the conditions we just right for it. If I can help just one person from this review or save one life, then my goal has been accomplished. Please be careful and conscientious when you go out on the water and be a knowledgeable renter.
I’ll leave you with one last thought that I learned from my experience. If something isn’t meant to be, don’t force it; you’ll get bad results.
