Zachary Chastain

History

Established in 2005.

Zachary’s interest in computers began at the Anderson Districts One and Two Career and Technology Center, in Williamston, SC. There he completed the three year Computer Repair and Networking Program while he was in high school. He was the only student to obtain a Comptia A+ Certification during the course of the program, at the age of 17. He was also inducted into the Career and Technical Honor Society, and awarded the Overall Senior of the Quarter for maintaining the highest grade in his Career Center course out of all senior classes from 3 high schools.

Zachary began working on computers when he was in high school. He started out working for family and friends, and eventually moved on to working for a lawyers office in Anderson, SC as part of his business’ clientele. He recognizes the importance of keeping in touch with his clients and utilizes social media to keep in touch, answer questions, accept feedback, and provide helpful information on staying safe online and using a PC.

Business Owner

Zachary Chastain is a Comptia A+ Certified Professional IT Technician with about 4 years of experience in the Information Technology field. He has also earned a Certificate of Completion from The Anderson Districts 1 and 2 Career and Technology Center, in the 3 year Computer Repair and Networking course. He is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Network Administration at Greenville Technical College, as well as an advanced certificate in Network Security and several other certificates and certifications.

He spends his free time offering volunteer technical support to fans of the AVG Technologies Fan Page. He has helped hundreds of people and even helped AVG Technologies on a few occasions. For his consistent efforts to help people resolve their computer problems, answer questions about Information and Systems Security, and help resolve customer service issues he has been AVG’s Featured fan for 3 consecutive months and awarded 3 consecutive AVG Community Awards.
