Established in 2014.

The dream all began a few years ago while microbrewery hopping in Asheville, North Carolina. The Wife and I were sitting at dinner enjoying some fabulous craft beer and when she made the ultimate statement to me: «You know, for as much as you love craft beer, you should make it for a living.»

Thus the mission of the Old Firehouse Brewery was found: To passionately brew fresh, hand-​crafted beer by using only the finest ingredients possible.

Our motto is great beer, great friends and great fun.

One other motto was born that day in Asheville as well. Not only did we believe in «drink local», we wanted to «stay and think local» and grow our own community. After figuring out how to bring our dream to reality, we then began the hunt for the right place to open the brewery in our community. With the help from some great friends, we soon found the «Old Firehouse» in our town.

All of us at OFB have special areas of excellence, and Adam is the man behind the vision, the man with the gift of gab and the man who consumes a lot of craft beer. To say that Adam has a thing for craft beer is an understatement.

Adam is a native Cincinnatian who combined his passion for hand-​crafted beer with his business experience to develop the foundation for making OFB a reality. His years of being a dedicated firefighter/​medic only add to the fun of developing the OFB plan.
