Told them Unilocal was for snitches, still stand by it, but they deserve the good rating.
Walked in on a particularly rough night and straight up just asked them the minimum, and they went above and beyond for me despite it. Did my tattoo (Brian I think? or Justin? sorry, I’m lousy with names) beautifully and in my own writing. The line work was impeccable. The conversation was good. The atmosphere cheered me up and made me happy to have stopped in. Ritchie even gave me a ticket to the NYC tattoo Con. These people are great, they make you feel ten thousand percent at home, and I’d Unilocal the hell out of them forever,
even if it makes me a snitch.

Very poor customer service. I went into the store and waited for 15 minutes; no one asked me if I needed any help. So I left… They don’t deserve a star.

I came here for an impulsive Friday the 13^th tattoo and even though the wait was long, the owners and the front desk/​receptionist were so funny and entertaining. Got an arrow on my arm by Pierre who has such a light hand in tattooing. Definitely will be going back to add to my hip tat. You guys are awesome and hustle butter smells amazing.

I had my first tattoo done @ Hustler Parlour, and it was a awesome Experience. I felt comfortable during the entire process and been happy with the work ! I’m on my 3^rd Tattoo.

A tattoo stays with you forever, and the day I stepped into Hustlers Parlour, I felt ready for my next and biggest piece. As a Tattoo Designer myself, I am always looking to collaborate with awesome artists. The second I met Pierre, I felt a big YES. In fact, my whole experience with all the boys at the shop from Xion to Richie to the little English Bolldog whose name I forget (but who was the sweetest addition to the already stellar vibe…) it truly created an incredible experience. Pierre took time to understand me and what I wanted and went above and beyond in every way that an artist and human being can. I am not only in love with my piece, but with the whole vibe that Hustler Parlour creates. This place is IT. Thank you guys very much for such a wonderful and loving experience. All my love, Svet

Came in late in the day last week for a daith piercing. Xyon took me right away. Tattoo spots in the US (in my limited experience) have a knack for feeling unwelcoming, but he was super chill and helped calm some last minute nerves. He also gave me his card should I have any aftercare questions. Much appreciated and I highly recommend.

Service is on point here! I got a Friday the 13^th quickie which turned out surprisingly gorgeous. Don’t remember the guy’s name, but as far as I could tell, everybody was talented, friendly, and patient. Also came in for some help with jewelry, and Xyon was super helpful. Hustlers butter also smells like paradise.

I got a tattoo by Rafael? An old school tattoo and i am very satisfied of the tats!
The crew was welcoming and has good advices !

After a yummy bite at Sweet Chick… I Unilocaled nearby piercing places and Hustlers Parlour came up with good reviews. Along with a head nod from my waiter. All I have to say is that my experience was great! Xyon answered my 101 questions and was extremely patient with me. I certainly recommend this spot for piercings — especially anyone who feels like they are still newbies.

Just had the best experience getting piercings. I was nervous but everyone there was very nice and helpful. The piercing look great and didn’t hurt. The parlor is very clean and the staff is great. Definitely recommend going.

I have a very good experience with that place. I went there to do my nose piercing first time by Xyan very nice person gave me good advices how to take care of it. And big thumbs up and thanks to Richie for great advice and running a badass place. Will definitely refer anyone wanting ink or piercing to this place.

I really can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked through the door to when I left, I experienced nothing but the utmost professionalism. Very friendly and attentive staff, I was greeted immediately. I went in with the intention of making an appointment to get my collarbone tattoo done but they were able to take me right away.
My artist listened to exactly what I wanted and took the time to make sure he got everything just right. He spent a lot of time making sure it was positioned perfectly straight (which is hard to do on the collarbone area). His exact words were «I won’t do it unless it’s perfect because it’s for life.» Super nice guy. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name but I went in on a Tuesday around 5 pm.
I would also recommend them for piercings, because a girl came in and got her nose pierced while I was getting tatted. Again, very professional: the piercer took her right away, explained everything to her in detail about piercing care and why they do it the old fashioned way with a needle and not a gun (ensures minimal to no swelling/​infection).
Reasonably priced, cool décor, smells amazing (I feel like I have to mention that because I honestly didn’t want to leave it smelled so good lol).

My friend and I got a few different ear piercings here and had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and we were seen right away (without appointments). Would definitely go back.

Got my rook pierced by Yolanda, and was very happy with the experience. Skilled, friendly and happy to answer questions. I even asked the other piercer, Gary, to hold my hand during the process and he was happy to do so :)

Came in to get my ears sized up and the piercer Yolanda was the one who took care of it. She was so professional and had me at ease the whole time! So quick, so painless and it looks AMAZING! I love it thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back!!!

Got my nose pierced here last minute yesterday afternoon
I was a walk in and was taken immediately
Cute non intimidating space
Yolanda did a swift clean precise job — whole thing took less than ten minutes
And she was super sweet as well, allowing my friend and 9month old girl to join me in the back and watch the fun go down
Definitely would return if needed other work done in the future

Came in here as a walk-​in to get a small quote on my arm and had the pleasure of being tattooed by Brian. He made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process and gave me exactly what I was looking for. The whole shop had a good vibe to it and everyone was really friendly. I’ll be back for sure and next time for a piece that shows off Brian’s beautiful artwork. Bonus points for Bob Dylan playing in the background.

I recently went to inquire about getting my septum pierced, and decided to do it right then and there. I am so happy I chose to come to Hustlers Parlour. I did a bit of research beforehand and knew not to choose a random, cheap place… it definitely needs to be with an experienced person! As I was staying in Williamsburg, I walked past this place a couple of times so thought it would be worth checking out.
We walked in and were greeted with a friendly welcome. I was traveling back from NYC to Toronto later that evening via bus, so had a ton of questions about whether or not I should do it or if I would be really uncomfortable. I really wanted to do it and was told it wouldn’t effect anything — she was right, I didn’t feel much discomfort at all on the way home (no more than the usual discomfort of a long bus ride!)
The piercing process: I won’t lie, I was terrified of the pain. I get super chatty when I am nervous and Yolanda handled my nerves well. She informed me the most uncomfortable part would be the clamp, of course I was like, yeah right… but she was right! The clamp wasn’t even that bad but the actual puncture of skin, I maybe felt it go in for a second, but it was pretty painless! Needless to say, I was relieved and happily surprised by the lack of pain!
Would I recommend this place for piercings? YES!
I had a great experience getting this piercing in Brooklyn and Yolanda was amazing! The price was worth it — 60 $ US and I bought their vegan and all natural foaming soup which also numbs and soothes while healing, for 15 $US. This ‘Hustler Helper’ is incredible for the healing process which, like all piercings, can be a bit uncomfortable.
I am super happy with my new piercing… looks so great! :)
I just might go back on my next visit to NYC to see about adding to an existing tattoo — their artist’s portfolios look great!

Yolanda pierced my nipples. She was very soothing and calming and helped make the experience fun and enjoyable. She may have pierced one of them crookedly – I’ll have to check when the swelling goes down. They weren’t very good with privacy either. I’m pretty sure the entire staff and store customers got to check out my knockers. Personally, I didn’t mind at all but I did ask for some privacy. It was offered but not fully given hence the 4 stars.
Day 2. Left nipple is definitely crooked… not happy. Down to 2 stars.

Great guys. I enjoyed their vibe and welcoming environment.
My first tattoo in New York and I’m very pleased with it. Will definitely come back for another one
