Cancun Mexican Grill

For being in this little hotel thing, this place is awesome! I was hesitant at first but never judge a book by its cover. It’s hard to find a cheeseburger my kid likes because she’s picky, but she loved this one and I loved my steak quesadilla. Awesome place!

This is a very new place and it shows. Hopefully after this place gets over its growing pains it will really gain some traction. The fact is the food is delicious. My wife had the steak taco salad and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The steak was seasoned perfectly and the portion was generous. I had the chicken quesadilla with beans and rice and I really liked it. The price for the portion was just right. The real standout was the guacamole, it was fresh and tasty.
Now this restaurant is connected to a hotel, so they need to be more prepared to serve that clientele. The take out food came in the usual aluminum carry out trays that are typical of Mexican restaurants. Well the only means of reheating your food is a microwave in the room. You see the problem here. It was also up in the air as to whether they could provide us with plastic wear to eat our food with.
All in all the food tastes good but some of the finer points being a hotel restaurant need to be worked on.

Excellent food and service. Prices are affordable comparable to Plaza Azteca and other local Mexican restaurants. They have ceviche on the menu which was a bonus! Def worth checking out. They even have a kids menu. We will be back for sure!
