Brooklyn Vintiques

This is a cute new store that just recently opened on my block, and oh, I love it! Each time I walk by, I see an amazing assortment of vintage items I want, from decorative globes to wicker picnic baskets. The prices are reasonable too, unlike many of these other uppity «antique» stores in the area which charge absurd prices for junk. Everything I’ve seen at BK Vintiques is in good, clean condition. The only reason I haven’t bought anything yet is because my house is cluttered, but once I clear out the trash I will be acquiring some new treasures from here. I saw a Visa, Master, etc. sticker on the cash register, so they must accept credit cards.
I also love the fact that this shop has a mom-​and-​pop feel to it. The guys behind the register and sitting with the tables of merchandise outside are sweet-​looking senior citizens. It adds to the charm of the store, hinting that, like these elderly gentlemen, each item has behind it a tale as old as time. I know, I’m corny, but this store just brings it out of me!
