Do not let the outside of Cork stop you from going in and enjoying a delicious dinner. Cork has a variety of options ranging from Salads to Seafood Dinners. Their cocktail menu features many options the will appeal to all tastes. Their dinners are consistently delicious and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. In the warmer weather they feature a fenced in patio for outdoor dinner or drinks.

A hidden gem in the North End of Wilkes-Barre. Casual dining downstairs and subdued, romantic dining upstairs. Various food options, some made by the owner(Ruth C.), and all are well prepared and delicious. Great selection of craft brews on draft and a fabulous wine list too. This is a «can’t miss» dining destination when visiting Wilkes-Barre!

Went here because of Unilocal 4.5 stars. While the ambiance was really impressive, I felt like I was in a hip metropolitan bistro the service was lacking and the food was good but not great. I can say the homemade pasta sauce was really good, but it’s not great when the chicken parm was too soggy and slightly surprised to see Penni as the pasta next to chicken parm. Really likes the cheese very flavorful. I did enjoy the homemade dressing on the dinner salad, but iceberg lettuce? The waitress at the table next to us was really attentive/friendly, while ours was prompt but not really friendly. Wanted to love this place as much as the reviews…

This is an excellent restaurant! From the outside, most wouldn’t(including us) expect their dining experience to be so wonderful. The menu is solid from top to bottom, offering a variety of choices for each course. The beer list is above average and the drink list is fantastic. We started with a sweet and hot chicken appetizer that was simple but very tasty. My wife had the shrimp pappardelle bolognese and loved it. I had the crab cakes and they were amazing. Our server, Jeanne, was extremely attentive and personable. Unfortunately, we live 4+ hours away or we’d be regulars here. Here’s to hoping a restaurant like this opens in Cranberry Township someday!

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Food was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back and I would tell anyone it’s a great place for dinner

We went there last night for my birthday and it was such a great choice. The patio seating was perfect — informal, yet personal. We couldn’t decide on appetizers, so we ordered two! The spinach artichoke dip was creamy, but the real star was the Italian spring rolls. Definitely a must have when you go! For the main course I got spaghetti(boring, I know) but it was really tasty. My boyfriend ordered the Alaskan salmon with the dijon sauce and it was melt in your mouth perfection. And I don’t even really like salmon. But this was so good. We ended up getting a dessert on the house for my birthday, which was a nice surprise! It was peach/blueberry pie and it was phenomenal. Definitely a hidden gem of WB and worth the extra 5 minute drive from downtown!

Cork was good, but overall I wasn’t super impressed. The interior is very pretty, and the staff is very friendly. The menu is just right, and the variety of options, in particular is exactly what I like to see in a high end restaurant. I did not try a cocktail. I opted for the crab stuffed salmon. It was tasty, but overall it was lacking in flavor. I found the dessert options to be uninventive and forgettable as well. I’ve tasted more complex dishes at some chain restaurants, and for these prices, I definitely expect more. For a fine dining experience, take your money and your date to the Manhattan Bistro or Fire & Ice. My main reasons for choosing this place were that I wanted to bring my mother somewhere upscale for Mother’s Day, and I wanted to make sure there were gluten free options. For the GF options on the menu and the staff’s friendliness, I’d go with a 5. For the quality of the food, I can’t, in good conscience, go higher than a 3. If an opportunity arises, and someone else is buying, I’d try it again, but I would never pick this place again.

When I saw one table occupied on a Saturday night… And one person sitting at the bar… I thought to myself… this might have been a bad choice. Everything was Fantastic. Good Food, Excellent Service. Definitely worth the drive from the main strip.

Great service great food great staff five star all-around that is not a place to bring really young kids unless you’re able to control them as it is a quiet place to go for a great dinner. This is actually my six-year-old and 16-year-old daughter’s favorite restaurant as they get to eat more upscale food and as regulars the staff caters to my daughters which makes them both feel so special it is just that type of a restaurant. Summertime is great when they open the patio. Let’s not forget about Tuesday night wine classes a great way to learn about different wines and try things you have never tried before.

I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Just recently we were a party of eight and enjoyed a fantastic dinner. I rarely get chicken when out but I could not resist their stuffed chicken. My children had the salmon and they loved it. The eggplant rolentini is also a must. Also, they have a very good wine selection and I believe they make one of the best martinis in town.

This looks like it should be just a neighborhood bar from outside, but upstairs is seating and a great menu. For GF eaters like me, the bartender had Tito’s vodka to make a great martini. The menu is well marked with many gf options. I had a filler free crab cake that was very good and excellent risotto. And Crème brûlée for dessert.

Was a good meal overall with good service. Not much to look at from the outside, but inside the place has a comfortable feel to it. Had a meat loaf special — very flavorful and plenty of food. Other food served was good as well. The only aspect that could have been better was the salad. The dressing was good, but the salad itself was iceberg — just doesn’t cut it nowadays.

Love this restaurant! Great people and great service. The first time I came it was because of the outdoor patio, it is even dog friendly, though we haven’t chances bringing our Tasmanian devils! The food is great, seafood, steaks, and Italian items. Plus great apps and drinks! Every two weeks they have a wine class where they ofer wine and food pairings with conversation. Lots of fun! Highly recommend this restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went there to escape the madness of Our day to day lives and were treated to a lovely dinner. The food(I had the stuffed pork chop and he had seafood fra diavolo) was delicious. Ashlee was our server and she was friendly, efficient, and welcoming. We will return.:)

Brought my work team of 15 here for dinner recently. None of us were native to the area(in fact, only one was even from Pennsylvania — the rest of us were from different parts of the country.) So we assumed that our only option for a nice dinner in town was Olive Garden. However, we were all quite wrong! Cork is a great dinner spot in Wilkes Barre for a cozy yet elegant dinner. The restaurant is in a remodeled home, so the bar is right where the living room is and I’m pretty sure we had dinner upstairs in someone’s old bedroom. But it works really well for creating an intimate, welcoming ambiance. As far as the food — I’m an adventurous eater, so I was happy to see options like stuffed salmon, Reuben spring rolls, and tilapia francaise on the menu. Everyone(i.e. 3:2 guy girl ratio) enjoyed the fried appetizers and protein-heavy entrees. The service was excellent too — two waitresses attended our large group, and we had our waters refilled when they noticed that the ice in our glasses had melted. The one weak part of this restaurant was that it had NO vegan friendly options. Even the chips that came with the spinach artichoke dip were flaked with cheese. All of the appetizers had dairy or meat in some form, or otherwise was fried. Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a date, a special occasion, or just to hang out.

I had the spinach and artichoke dip, and the flatbread. The dip it self was good, but the chips were not good, They were too greasy. The flat bread was very bad. It was to soggy. my husband had the stuffed pork chops, and said there was too much sauce on it, And The scalloped potatoes weren’t season properly. Then he vomited 30 minutes later!

I’ve been to Cork many times, and I’ve never been disappointed. The atmosphere is very nice(Sit in the bar for a casual evening or head upstairs for tables and candles) and the service is friendly and attentive. I love their homemade meatballs, and their drinks are always delicious. They have wine flights, too, if you’re in the mood for variety. I had penne with vodka sauce the other day that was just amazing; I find that vodka sauce can sometimes been too bland(maybe too much cream and not enough sauce), but theirs was quite perfect. Also, I love that this place is great for a night with your girlfriends, your boyfriend, or your mother. Very versatile, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back.
