Pyramid Resort Motel

I was in town starting with a friend this past summer and we wanted to go the «cheaper» rout and ended up at Pyramid Resort. And we were glad for it since it was top notch and high quality! Things were great and the service was amazing. Our room was a good size for the price and it was super clean and modern. And not just our room, the whole place was clean and nice! It was clearly well taken care of! We were there at the start of September and even though it was nearing the end of the season it was so perfect! I can’t wait to go back again!

Family friendly? A complete joke! I really had a terrible experience here. My first impression of the motel wasn’t great. This was by far the smallest, most cramped and outdated room I have ever stayed in. That was something I was willing to overlook however, as we had enough activity planned that we wouldn’t be spending all our time in our hotel room. The ONE amenity they do offer is an outdoor pool, and that was ruined when a couple of people that had been drinking by the pool decided to get in and start fooling around. This quickly escalated to actually HAVING SEX IN THE POOL! This was in the daytime, with my 14 year old niece there to see what they were doing, as well as 2 kids that were both under the age of 5. I was so upset and disgusted and when I went to complain to a manager, there was (as usual) nobody in the office. When my sister called the number on the office door, one of the owners, a woman, came down and proceeded to tell me that I should have handled it. I said I would have, but that my niece was already upset by the whole situation and because it’s her establishment, SHE should be handling it. She then suggested we were trying to cause trouble. Eventually she said something to them, but didn’t kick them out. My sister and I thought she handled it terribly, and she made it worse by suggesting we get another hotel if we were unsatisfied, but that it wouldn’t be refunded. She was incredibly rude and my niece ended up not being able to go back to the pool (one of the things she had been really excited about), cause we didn’t know if the same people, or similar would be there. You shouldn’t have to worry about this kind of disgusting, perverted behavior from guests, but if you do have any sort of negative experience, the management should handle it. It should be a given. I am so disgusted that not only will I never return, but I will pass on my experience to any friends and family looking to stay in the area.

New management is the worst. New Owner/​Mgr very unfriendly from the moment of check in. He seems ill equipped to handle running a motel or anything to do with the service industry and dealing with people. We had a problem with a slow running toilet and instead of coming to fix it, he called me down to the office and tried to hand me a plunger?!? I would never stay there again.

We are back! Or should I say my extended family is back! Had many family members visit this summer and thank goodness for us finding the Pyramid! This is the 2^nd time we have booked rooms here this summer to accommodate our extended family. It’s such a convenient beach block location and run by a nice couple. it’s cozy, quiet, and very comfortable! The families that stay here are also very nice. They have rules posted… But I like that! Reading a previous review from a Unilocaler I wonder why you would be upset? If someone should up at the pool that wasn’t staying as a registered guest… I would be worried! My grand kids are in that pool. I’m glad they are aware of who their guests are. Makes us feel even more secure. Great place and highly recommended!

Long story short I’ve been going to this motel with my family for as long as I can remember we loved it, loved the amazing owners you get it. We wanted to go to the beach for the day and go home again later we came up from the beach and waited under the shade of the pyramid while my mom got the car to pick us up while we waited we thought we could change in the outside bathroom like we’ve done before many times. Here’s the problem that I had actually a major annoyance. There’s a new owner we didn’t know about and as we were waiting my sister gos to the bathroom while walking this guy speedwalks up and locks the door before she could get there and questions us on why were on the property what were doing etc. He left leaving us feel completely unwelcome and unwanted I couldn’t believe it, I can understand that especially in wildwood people take advantage of motels without staying there at all but Jesus BE MORE POLITE. He was like a 3^rd grade kid running in front of everyone to get to lunch first. Anyway in his defence I can understand telling people to leave it happens it’s part of the buissnes he was rude about it everything he did was in some way rude. The place though and the changed he made esthetically was beautiful so there’s that but I’m not happy with this guy and that’ll definatly sway whether we continue the tradition of going there every summer.

My husband and I have stayed here for four years in a row and we love it! We love the fact that its a calm environment, away from the Wildwood North night life! Here we can simply relax and enjoy each others company. I would recommend this place for couples and families who are just looking to relax and be stress free (nothing wild)! Cant wait for summer 2015
