We went for breakfast on a weekday. It wasn’t terribly busy. This was my first visit since they changed locations. The service was spot on. The server was attentive without being intrusive. I ordered the south of the border omelette. A three egg omelette with filling so generous that I didn’t quite finish it all. The deluxe hash browns had sautéed onions and were covered in cheese. They were delectable and at 2.99, a great value. All in all a great breakfast. I will return.

Breakfast was wonderful! Had an omelette that was stuffed with flavorful ham, spinach, mushrooms and spinach. The ingredients were plentiful and so fresh. Our server Ben, was very pleasant and on top of things. Great atmosphere. Priced right.

There are a few things to like about Letty Lou’s Café. Like the coffee cups(vintage styles), the menu has a decent variety of breakfast foods, the eating area is clean, and that’s about it. My experience was overwhelmingly bad. We waited too long to be acknowledged after being seating by our server, finally got to order, waited and waited for our food, all the while watching servers come out of the kitchen with plates of food and having to ask each table«Is this your food?» until they found the right one, received our food but realized we had no silverware to eat with, no napkins, no butter on our pancakes, part of the order was missing, so we asked the man who served us(not our waitress) to get those things for us, we waited some more, food is cold now, waitress comes up so we ask her for those things and she says«Oh, you know what, so-and-so asked me to get those things…» Ok, then. We get what we need,(Yay for eating utensils!!) and the food is cold but still edible so we just eat it, no complaining. Another seemingly minor thing that bothered me: I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and the pancakes were good sized, BUT they used mini-chocolate chips and very few of them. Huge disappointment as I couldn’t even taste them and I was seriously looking forward to having them as a treat. Also they were chewy pancakes(overworked batter) and overall didn’t taste good anyways. They could have been saved flavor-wise however, had they just used regular sized chocolate chips. And finally, the icing on the chewy pancakes: our waitress gave us someone else’s bill. So, had to wait some more to get the heck out of there while she refunded, then recharged… sigh.

Cute, classic café. Stopped for breakfast. Clean. Prompt, polite service. Good food. Skillet fried hash browned potatoes, smothered with chopped red onion and covered with melted cheddar cheese … excellent(but one order serves two). Quality breakfast meats and artisan whole grain bread. The breakfast menu had some creative dishes(including«egg in the hole» like dad prepared for the kids years ago). Arrived on a Saturday morning at opening. The place filled up quickly with many«regulars». Well worth a breakfast stop!

Everything here was bad except the Eggs Benedict and the Dr. Pepper. The service was horrible, the Hashbrowns were horrible, the homemade chips were raw and chewy and the chicken salad was nothing but mayonnaise.

The burger was ok… will definitely go back to try the eggs Benedict.

My family and I love going to Letty Lou’s for breakfast, but we do go there with the same mental preparedness as we did in the old location — prepare to wait. Even if the crowd doesn’t seem to be terrible, it’s going to take a little while to get your food. But when you get it, it’s totally worth it. I almost always get the Birds in a Nest, because I love their hashbrowns. They’re just perfect — just the right amount of crispiness. The pancakes are great too — and huge, so order with that understanding.

Been here a couple times for breakfast. Love the service, always very friendly and helpful and quick. Had Eggs Benedict and a Breakfast Burrito and both where excellent. I’m pretty picky about my breakfast joints as I travel a lot and have eaten a lot, and I mean a lot of restaurant breakfasts. This place takes the normal and does it at least one notch better and makes it fun. I’ll be back.

Been here for breakfast many times and recommend it. We figured we would try lunch and were very disappointed. The Philly and Pepper steak wrap meat didn’t taste good and came out cold. They apparently are trying to conserve on ketcup. We were brought 4 different bottles and each one was empty. Never did get a bottle of ketcup that we could actually use. The Rubin that someone in my group had was good. I am just going to stick with breakfast.

Stopped in on a Friday morning. Lady greets us with I have a large group and it will take me a while to get to you. We sat down and said that’s fine. If we can just get a cup of coffee we don’t mind waiting. Shel rudely said. I have 12 coffees to make! We left.

Dirtiest kitchen I’ve ever seen. Don’t know how they passed inspection. Food is average. Nothing special.

Just had a great lunch at Letty Lou’s. I had Eggs Benedict and a blueberry pancake. Fantastic! The hollandaise sauce was very flavorful… excellent lemon flavor just how I like it. The ham is real ham slices… not Canadian bacon and a little thicker than I would like but I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it. The pancake was big and great. My fellow diner had a patty melt and claimed it was great too. They have Blue Moon and 14 Hands beer on draft which was nice too. Service was friendly and the place is cool. They don’t cook the food in front of you like some diners but it was still great.

The worst experience I have ever had. The food was awful and cold. Service was nonexistence. And then to top it all off, it wasn’t cheap! My kids say something about how bad it is every time we pass it. Which is daily! I really wanted to like this place, it just didn’t happen.

Really enjoyed it! Fun atmosphere, very 50’s diner-like with some modern twists. Server was attentive and friendly. I got the house salad with grilled chicken, son got the chicken tenders. Both were good, large portions, and very tasty! Appreciated the atmosphere and varied menu… something for everyone, really, whether you want the true diner experience or something much more upscale… short ribs, anyone? We will be back!

This place isn’t fancy but the food is good. Came here for brunch, got the breakfast quesadilla and hash browns, both were great. Pancakes are pretty good too!

We all tried something different. The gourmet grilled cheese, the Winchester and the Letty Lou. All the food was good, enjoyed it. The service was good. My only complaint was the amount of time it took to get our food, almost 45 minutes.

Food was decent but service was sloppy, lazy and slow. They weren’t even busy and it took 50 minutes from the time we sat down until we received our food. Their excuse was they were short one cook. They shouldn’t give excuses. They should get someone in and get the food out. Or tell you they will be slow before they seat you. We were time pressed and it caused problems. Suffice it to say we won’t be back.

I hate to give this place a mediocre review since it recently reopened, but there are improvements to be made. I loved this restaurant when it was at its old location and visited for breakfast quite a bit. We came to the new location for breakfast a week after it opened. It was busy and they seemed to be extremely understaffed. We were seated, ordered, and then waited almost an hour for our food. Everything was good, but the wait time was definitely a turn off, especially for simple breakfast orders like omelet and pancakes. We weren’t the only ones who waited, seems as if the whole restaurant was complaining about the wait time. Our waitress was very nice and took care of us, so maybe the issue was in the kitchen. Either way, I hope they make adjustments because they have a great location and could really do well. I would hate to see people not return because of the wait time, because they do have very good food. We will definitely be back and I’m sure the restaurant will have worked out its kinks by that time.

This was our first dinner here. I had the baked pork chop dinner. Others in our group had a Reuben and burgers. Everything was very well prepared and great quality. I also had the recommended ‘breaded egg noodles’ which were a really good accompaniment with the chop. There weren’t a lot of customers, but I suspect this was because it is relatively new and people are out of town for spring break. I’d really recommend this for a good family meal experience. They are also open for breakfast and lunch. I hope they do really well, as we need some great dining choices out in Wildwood. Check it out!
