I had never tried Stand Up Paddleboarding before my lesson with JSA, but thought that it always looked like fun. Jim was a great instructor. He took the time before we got in the water to explain some things about the equipment and talk about what we would do. The lesson was a great introduction to SUP; I now feel like I could rent a board on my own and plan to do so soon to get more practice. The area where he took me out to paddle was nice and protected from the wind. It was a great hour and I’m looking forward to doing more SUPing. This would be a great place to go with a group of friends who are all interested in learning how to paddleboard. I’m hoping to come back soon!
