Crusader Resort

I have stayed at this resort for years and the staff and the rooms have been excellent!
This place is super clean and the super in charge is professional! I wouldl highly recommed
this diamond in the rough!

My fiancée and I decided to head out to Wildwood yesterday since our extended family was already staying at the Crusader for a couple of days. We got a mini suite with an oceanfront and pool view for $ 240 (including tax for a Sunday night). I guess the price is okay considering it to be on the beach with a view. Another of our extended family also came down to the shore with us and wanted to get a room at the Crusader but were denied because the rooms were only meant for a size of 4 and there were 2 adults, 2 children, and 1 small child. I spoke with the front desk who said they still wouldn’t be able to accommodate them even if my fiancée and I opened our room for the 1 of the kids. I thought they could’ve at least did that for us since it was 3 families that decided to stay at the Crusader. That family ended up having to go across the street from us.
The Crusader has a nice pool that goes up to 11 feet with plenty of lounge chairs. They also have a ping pong/​small activities area that’s by the pool. This motel is definitely family friendly. The people staying next door to us were pleasant and always spoke when we were sitting on the balcony. The rooms are non-​smoking, but you can smoke literally outside of your door– they also have chairs/​table/​and an ashtray for each room which is very convenient. I woke up this morning to a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, too bad I had to leave early to get back to work because I most definitely would’ve stayed another night. I recommend this place for anyone that is looking to stay overnight in Wildwood Crest.
