Teakwoods Bar Vs Grill

Music is WAY too loud. Even for a bar. We walked in to try dinner here and walked right back out. The old dude standing outside looking for beer money was a turn off too.

Good burgers and drinks but the rest of the food is mediocre at best and goes downhill from there. The nachos even are topped with the fake canned cheese stuff. Service is nothing short of terrible. Worst waitresses ever. We go there for the convenience of the location to get a non-​fast food burger, nothing else is a draw.

Came here for the first time. AJ was awesome! Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers were so good!

Server must have been having a really bad day because she seemed like we were interrupting her. The instant mashed potatoes were awful and why they loaded salt onto steamed spinach is beyond me. Stick with the sandwiches and burgers and you should be fine.

Food is delicious — always. Drinks are good. Music is great.
Service — pretty much at the bottom. So unfortunate. At least bring out the correct condiments, refill the water, check that everything is okay with the meal — and if nothing else, put a smile on your face when you come to my table.

The food is gross!
The fish smelled like old stale fish and tasted funny. It was not fresh. It was old fish.
The French dip was cheap sandwich meat that you get at the store for 69. The au juice that comes with the sandwich was a beef broth cube that tasted like water.
The french fries were served COLD! Who serves cold french fries.
We used our entertainment card for a 10.00 discount and it was denied because the coupon she said was for food only but it did not say that on the coupon! The old bait and switch routine.
NEVER COMING BACK!

I gave this place two stars because the drinks were nice and strong but the customer service sucks! The waitress was so rude as soon as we sat down. I will not come back here. I decided not to even try the food because the waitress attitude pissed me off. Spend your money else where.

Place was off the hook took my queen out to lunch name throw me for a loop once inside gloves were off food was fantastic, service was stellar and the drinks converted a diet coke drinker and the music was fantastic if you like 70s 80s 90s and modern stuff they don’t discriminate.
Shame I could only give it 5 stars in will be back with my queen.

Not too impressed, we literally walked in & the server didn’t bother to greet us. All she said was «we only take cash». We were excited about the menu, but never even got seated since the customer service was ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend based on the lack of good/​quality service.

So i. Was intriguid by the outside view, of the bar/​grill.
big no-​no, the female who attended, me did not ask for my ID. I do not look my age. (every bar ive ever been to always card, me because i look too young.)
The cooks are easily spotted from a couple of seats. and they were goofing off and screaming! But on a positive note. the meal was delicious, the drinks were served quick, and the waiters where somewhat professional

Bad food, even worst service. Waitresses appeared to be fighting over who was going to help us. Stay away!

We come here twice a week and the lunch sandwich comes with a soup or salad. We always order the chili. The new girl says there is an extra charge for the chili. Huh? It doesn’t say that on the menu!

Wow bad service bad food won’t go back ever. Waiter broke class cut me and did nothing.

So, here’s the thing. Teakwood USED to be a favorite. Good food, attentive service and a dog friendly patio to boot!
However, I am currently sitting on the patio where I have been since 6pm… It is now 7:35 and we have yet to receive the two burgers we ordered. I had to find my own silverware and napkins and go inside to the bar to get my own drinks. The first round was eventually brought by the waitress, but after that nada.
Even at the bar, I waited a very long time, as the bar was unattended. When the bar tender finally showed up, she walked right by me to strike up a conversation with others who had already been served at the bar. I had to make an overt gesture to get her attention. While pouring my wine, a new bottle needed to be opened but that was not taken care of until another person was served a refill.
I could go on, but I have to leave so I can find somewhere to have dinner… It’s now 8 pm. We won’t be back or recommend Teakwoods again. Too bad, it was a favorite.

My girlfriend & I actually enjoyed our first time experience. The bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers where yummy & both our burgers (bbq bacon burger & blue buffalo burger) where delicious. Sadly, they where out of stella but had coronas. We’d go again :)

Although we love the food and service, it’s hard to enjoy the patio because they NEVER EVER have propane in the outdoor heaters and their fire pit is broken. Music is AWESOME on Wed nights. Too bad you can’t sit outside.

My previous review was removed due to a personal attack. Here it is minus the comment about appearance, which for the record was more censored than I wanted it to be initially.
I gave this place three stars because the food was good, atmosphere was fun and whiskey Wednesday! Great happy hour. BUT for a first impression, our waitress, Nicole W. Made us not want to come back. She was less than happy to be serving us, and my BF and I are pretty damn good tippers if the servers/​bar tenders are good or even half was descent. We still gave her more than 10% and it was ill deserved. My BF had an empty pint of beer for nearly 10 minutes and she walked by us 3 times. My jack and Coke went dry for about 5 min before she realized the two empty glasses on the edge of the table. One of the guys at the table behind us even had to get up and order himself another beer from the bar because this server was not on top of it. Her personality just stunk for the type of work she does. She was more interested in what the scoop was with a coworker and checking her phone. I don’t expect extreme professionalism out of a bar/​grill like this, but welcoming and attentive shouldn’t be too much to ask. I hope you have a better experience.

This place is s joke. The food is terrible as well as the service. Tonight was the last straw. It’s 9pm (apparently they are closed? Website and Unilocal says they close at 10) but there’s a full bar. The bartender tells me she is closed and as I walk out she serves beer to her regulars. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Service here has gone downhill… the waitresses always have been terrible.. but this is my last time coming to this teakwoods. Our waitress had us waiting for 2 beers for 15 mins… I had to flag her down to cancel the order and get the check. Then she said they were changing out the kegs. she could have told us that instead of having us wait. Go to the Corona teakwoods. Service is better there.

First off don’t believe people with only 2 reviews under them. What a crock if you ask me.
I was greeted by Kourtney. Must be the owner she was very nice. Told me about the lunch deals and wow.
OK I ordered the French dip and chilli. I have to say every thing was just right. Cooked just right and sooooooo gooood. Beer was cold and not watered down. I was really impressed with how fast it was to get my food.
All around this place gets an A++ from me. I just can’t believe any one would say bad things. I was really happy here. 5÷20÷16 Mad because you guys took down the confederate flag sticker down. That’s all.
Great job here. I will return again and again!
