This is by far the best pizza we have had since moving to this area 6 years go. Fresh ingredients and great service. If you purchase the unlimited toppings, you actually get unlimited toppings. You stand right there while they load up your pizza and you tell them what you want and how much you want. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other items on their menu. Can’t go wrong with a pizza from this great little spot!!!

I’m from the Chicagoland area, and we have a few restaurants similar to this. They are much cheaper than this(half the price for a pizza) but with the cost of living higher out here, it’s understandable. Regardless, good pizza, but nothing special. Not a spot I’d recommend, as it’s $ 15 – 20 for a personal pizza. Can’t you get a whole pizza that feeds 3 – 4 for around the same price?

First off… I saw an employee drop a pizza pan on the floor & then pick it up & put it back on the oven rack next to other things. I mentioned it to Armando, the manager, who didn’t seem that concerned. Also, while I was waiting, I noticed the female employee calling out names as soon as pizzas were ready. However, I noticed one pizza she put onto the shelf after cutting it, without calling out a name. After five minutes & no one else waiting, I went up & asked if my pizza was ready… oh yes, that was mine! Not good. Then I get home to find out my pizza was wrong. I had asked for the 15″ unlimited with all pepperoni and then on half, add bell peppers, mushrooms & black olives. There were no pepperonis on the veggie side at all & hardly no sauce at all. One of the small pieces was just dough in more than half the slice. I called to speak with the Manager… which turned out to be Armando, who was also the one who took my order. First he blamed me by saying he read back my order on the phone(as I recall he was the one that got confused & at one point read«meatballs» back to me, something I never said). Then he blamed an employee that was new, then the fact that they had been really busy. He did offer me a new pizza if I came back… but I was already at home. All I know is that the prices went up & I will not be going back.

Really good build-your-own pizza with fresh ingredients. Not overly salty, priced well, good crust, excellent customer service, but room for improvement just not at this location. Missing a star because they are missing a bathroom. But hey… they have gluten-free crust and vegan cheese

Love, love this place! I’m so happy they opened so close to our house– we come here allll the time. We each get our own little pizza, choose from unlimited toppings! Best tasting pizza I have had around here! I’ve recommended pie nation to all my friends and they’re now regulars as well.

Best Pizza Ever! We had the BBQ chicken pizza and Chicken Pesto pizza. Both were beyond amazing! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Only bad thing is it a small place. But food was great!!!

I will definitely be back here. Visited for the first time with my boyfriend. We’ve been trying to look for a BBQ chicken pizza that isn’t thin crust, the great thing about this place is that you can customize it! Was disappointed to not see the Karl Strauss PB Cup beer available, but that won’t knock off any stars. The pizza was delicious and I’m all about that crust, which was phenomenal. The place inside is quite small, but great to know that they deliver and I love that!

WOW. In my humble opinion, Pie Nation is the absolute best Subway-style pizza stop to date. This place puts Blaze and Pieology to shame. The base of this pizza was remarkable. I usually only eat deep-dish crust, and was delighted to find out that they had a thick crust option. I had ½ pesto and ½ classic marinara for my sauce choices, and wasn’t let down in the slightest. The pesto was absolutely delicious, and even had chunks of pine nuts, which I LOVE. The vegan cheese was wonderfully melted, too! For an extremely low price you can have unlimited toppings, and I do mean unlimited! I’ve always been annoyed with Pieology for using a very minimal amount of ingredients on my pizza. I’m a huge fan of olives, and always ask for«extra extra olives, as many as you can put on». At Pieology, this means a small handful of olives. When I requested this at Pie Nation, the gal making my pizza PILED on about a can of olives, and then asked me if I wanted more. Like, how beautiful is that?! I appreciate the generous toppings more than I can even put into words. Oh! And be sure to sprinkle some of their red pepper salt that’s in the shaker on the tables. I’m not quite sure exactly what this is, but God I want to buy a pound and a half of it! The only small downside that comes to mind is the seating. It’s a pretty small restaurant, but they do have a comfortable booth with small tables next to it, so you’re good if you don’t mind sitting next to your partner-in-dine, I know I didn’t!

The idea of creating you own pizza is brilliant! Fun idea. But since I’m somewhat of a pizza snob — it was just ok in taste. I think I should have tried the thin vs the regular. If you like a thick doughier crust, than you may like regular. The topping to bread ratio was off for me. I would go back to give it another whirl though… The ingredients were fresh and the staff is really nice.

Coming back from San Diego we were looking for food in the area and I came across Pie Nation. SO glad we stopped! This is the first create your own pizza chain using thick crust pizza and it was too good! I love that they offer other menu items such as salad and wings as well, I went with the house salad and it was a very generous portion, very fresh and presented nicely. The kids pizza is ridiculously small, its is worth getting the full size and having leftovers, a much better value. While $ 10 for a create your own is about $ 1 – 2 more than any other chain, the pizza is much more filling and they have more toppings than most places as well. The crust thick, but fluffy, perfect really and adding cheddar as well as mozz brought it to a whole other level. Service was nice, the place really small with not much seating or room to move. It got really full with a line out the door, best best is going at off hours. I hope they expand to other locations, they have already grown out of this one and I would love to be able to eat here more often, worth the stop when in the area!

Family pizza night, pizza was so tasty! Unlimited, fresh toppings. We did a half red sauce combo and half Laredo white sauce pizza with basil, sun dried tomatoes, chicken. We will be back again, thanks Pie Nation for the casual atmosphere and friendly staff. There is limited indoor seating, but great atmosphere. Few out door tables too would be great in spring/summer. Cannoli was delicious, desserts made there. We are definitely coming back.

This is my new favorite pizza place! My wife has been coming here since they opened and just now took me. It is the best create your own pizza place that I know of between Riverside and Temecula. You start off with your choice of crust, thin or original. We did the original, it’s really good. Next they ask if you want garlic butter on the crust to make sure it doesn’t burn. Then, sauces, cheeses and toppings to make your own pizza. They also have beer specials. The price point is perfect, it’s $ 10 for an unlimited topping personal pizza. I will be back!

Probably closer to 4.5, but Unilocal still refuses to let us use half stars. To start off, I’m not a fan of conveyor belt pizza places where you go down the line adding your toppings. Usually because they only offer thin crusts which cook fast so they can cycle through customers as fast as possible, so I almost nixed this place when my friend suggested it. Luckily, I looked at the Unilocal pictures and realized they go beyond the thin crust and I’m glad I went. We started with an order of wings, just because I like to try wings wherever I go. We got the sweet & spicy and they said they use Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce which was fine with me. The wings are baked, not fried, but still have a nice crisp crunch to them and the sauce worked just fine. Overall, really good wings, good size, cooked well. For the pizza, we went with the regular crust and got the garlic butter spread they start all pizzas with(asking you if you want it first of course as they still go down the line adding items as you go). For the sauce, spicy red(yum!), then we had our choice of items that go under the cheese and selected arugula. Our server was great from start to finish, offering ideas(such as the arugula) that we hadn’t originally considered. Next up, mozzarella, then some pepperoni and sausage. Finished it with some pepperoncinis and shaved parmesan(again, as suggested by our pizza builder). Then we waited– we got there right when they opened at 10, so were the only ones there and the wait was short — it looked like their pizza oven was large enough to handle quite a few pizzas at a time, so your only bottleneck would be the creation table. As for the pizza, it was pretty damn tasty. The crust had a nice crunch to it, it wasn’t overly greasy, the toppings all tasted quite fresh and the pizza we created with some help of our server was delicious. About halfway through our meal, the guy that appeared to be the manager or owner came over, asked us how everything was, asked if it was our first time, etc. Very nice people all around. About 10 minutes later, a free order of cheese bread(elevated with spices and ranch) came out. Man that was tasty as well, very filling, and a nice gesture. Overall, despite my misgivings about Chipotle-style pizza places like this that are popping up everywhere and are a dime a dozen, Pie Nation stands out and above the rest. Highly recommended.

DEFINITELY try to dine~in or eat immediately or as close to when that pizza exits that oven. If you visit during a rush lunch or dinner hour expect a wait because it is a smaller venue. I remember seeing at least two tables outside for four-six. If you’re patient though, I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Dream Tan referred us to try out this new place next door. They had a bit of a wait so we decided to venture in and try it out for a last minute dinner out. Immediately greeted and staff was so welcoming. They’re about 5 customers in, and one guy explains to us how we make our custom pizza. At first all the choices are a bit overwhelming. In a sense it IS like a sub sandwich setup as stated in a previous review, where you pick your basics: type of crust(even gluten free is available), type of sauce, type of cheese, and then everything else is visible in the customization station. Our first choice went with the ten-inch regular crust, garlic butter ALLOVER that dough, then the spicy red sauce, a blanket of that mozzarella and a generous layer of pepperoni. Then on a whim, we asked for the spicy oil. The gal drizzled the spicy oil for us over the crust. Why such a basic traditional pizza when I have such a vast array of toppings, but if they have perfected the sauce and the bread, then I’m sure to be back for more. Seated ourselves and waited for our pizza and Thai Peanut Salad. Easily shared between two of us with another meal or two as take-home. The Thai Peanut Salad dressing has a bit of a tangy kick to it, not the sweeter sauce I make myself, but it was compatible for a salad to give it a nice«bite.» That PIZZA tho… HOTHOTANDCHEEEEESYPERFECTION… The garlic butter embedded on that entire crispy dough, with the spicy oil drizzle made it one of my favorite pizza palettes to date. Enjoying the pizza as soon as it leaves that oven is definitely a plus! I can’t wait to return and try another pizza topping variation like the pesto and chicken one I saw being made before me. Really friendly and welcoming here. Food for thought~ maybe they’ll add on a dessert pizza section next??? That dough, a sweet icing or glaze and strawberries…

Yummy pizza dig! Fresh ingredients, tasty sauce & dough. It’s like a subway but for pizza. You get to choose your crust, sauce, cheese, & toppings. Lots of options. They also have wings, pasta, salads, beer & wine. The establishment is small & no restrooms but they serve pretty good pizzas & are friendly.
