Worse than awful– smelled like trash and cigarettes inside. Waitress took our drink order and didn’t return after 25 minutes. The«Meat Raffle» that was occurring inside must have kept her away from our big ticket party of 15. We ended up leaving.

The waitress was rude. The food was decent. The atmosphere was subpar. I heard there was a nice lake. Didn’t see it. The waitress made me want to punch a kitty right in the face. The ribs were stout but not succulent. The waitress was a horrible person. The appetizers were def deece, but the waitress was one of the worst servers I have ever experienced. They had football on the television, if you’re into that shit. The waitress was so bad at serving I was left without utensils. I would not come back here. If they just hired competent help, the experience would have been better. I also received a menu that was different than my girlfriends, stating lower prices. Here I thought I was getting an ok deal, turns out things were 2 $ more than listed. The waitress was just a bitch. That is all.

For a small little bar, the food is surprisingly good. They always have a small but good selection of beers. During the summer, it is $ 1 domestic bottles whenever the Brewers play. The service is usually very good, and only bogs down a bit when they get packed. I always enjoy stopping by The Red Fox whenever I’m at Silver Lake. There’s also a back deck that is open in summer, worth hanging out there, too.

We have have a cottage near by and when in the area stop by regularly. This is a nice old school bar/restaurant which remains more or less unchanged since the currant owner’s grandmother built it. They have a friendly staff and good bar food, and their Friday Night Fish Fry is always excellent. I would recommend the Red Fox.

Nice lodge style bar/restaurant with an awesome view of an amazing lake. The color and clarity of this lake are like right out of the Caribbean. Smack dab in the middle of the woods. Quite surreal actually. Good food though, and good service. They had Fat Tire on tap when I was there.
