I have never seen any type of service like I did last night. I went for my birthday dinner with some of my friends and it was an overall bad experience. First of all our waitress could not remember our drink orders. Next, when she brings out the first two dishes she does not know what the dishes are called. She asks the table who ordered Mac and cheese(which was baked ziti) and seemed offended when no one answered. She didn’t apologize when she realized she had the name of the dish wrong. And also called one of my fiends dishes«the chicken and broccoli.» I’m sorry but if you work at a restaurant you should know the menu. One of my friends was eating when she took his plate out of his place and said I’ll take this out of your way. He was eating it! She rushed us out. Took all of our food and wrapped it while we were clearly not done eating and made it a point that we felt uncomfortable. It was a rather high bill so she added gratuity. And when we split the checks she gave us about two minutes before she CAMEOVER to the table and collected every check so that she could leave. Honestly this women was middle aged with dark hair and if any of the management sees this post I highly suggest you let her find another form of work. Waitressing is not for her. I hadn’t even finished half of my glass of wine before she had us out of there. The food was good and that’s the only reason this review gets a star. I’ve never felt so rushed and I felt she was so rude and I hope management understands that their horrible wait staff is the majority of the reason customers will not come back.

Alright, most people have given their opinions on this location and do not rate it very high. Some I can agree with so three stars are the most I can give. Craving pasta and crabs, we decided this will be our dinner as we have been to so many different places. With such a big parking lot, I became skeptical as soon as I saw almost no cars. We ordered the Gorgonzola Chicken and their chicken teriyaki pasta dishes. I’ll give to them, I defiantly enjoyed both dishes very much. Extremely large portions and they come out hot in the skillet they were made in. The teriyaki chicken pasta is a very different dish. Mixed in an Alfredo sauce but it works and tastes very good. Here is my problem. The restaurant feels like a shelter mixed with a 24 hour diner owned by a Bosnian or some Eastern European. The lighting is awful! The lights are blinding bright and they play the most depressing music. There is an old cake refrigerator right out in the open. Maybe it’s their style but clearly their cakes and desserts are pre made and probably came from some restaurant whole seller. Service was ok but nothing special.

I gotta say it takes ALOT for me to be upset with a restaurant. I used to work in one and I know how hard it is to do a good job all the time. I also usually decouple bad food and bad service; the waitress’s tip won’t usually suffer if we thought the food was bad. But this place was just horrible. The only good part about the whole experience was the rolls and oil. Both were delicious. If we stopped there it would be 5 stars. Everything else, the greeter, the waitress, the drinks, the food, brought this place somewhere I don’t get to often. We never got our salads until we asked twice and the finally came with dinner. They were filled with stale veggies and wilted ice burg lettuce. Wife got special with prosciutto which tasted like rubber in a sauce that needed butter, salt, anything it just tasted like water with parsley. Too bad because we are pretty tolerant and easy to please, but the waitstaff was aloof and this place and experience was pretty much a train wreck. Will not be back.

Ok, use to frequent this restaurant on Mondays and Wednesdays for great 10.95 meal, not only did prices go up but service/food went downhill. Patio closed, salt shaker completely hard as a rock, poured my own wine, dishes not cleared, all candles but one lit in dining room, used WINDEX on all surfaces including the inside the dessert cooler around oil they use for bread, completely disappointed! We use to love this place. It’s getting old as my husband puts it…

Came here with low expectations based on recent reviews… and we all left here pretty happy and satisfied. First off… Mondays and Wednesdays are bargain days… and worth checking out. All entrees appear to be $ 8 off on those two evenings. First off the four of us all enjoyed our wine and cocktails. pinot grigio was a decent pour… our manhattans and margaritas were all very good. You get either a salad or soup with all entrees… all got high marks especially the onion soup. rolls were extremely delicious. we all loved our entrees(all of us had the house favorites). teriyaki alfredo… chicken parm… eggplant rollatini and spicy chicken Mississippi were tasty and served piping hot(in the pan). All of us finished every bit. Food gets four stars. atmosphere and server bring it all down a notch. Place is loud… a singer(entertainment) on the outdoor deck(we sat inside) made conversation difficult whenever the sliding door was open(which was often). Our server seemed like a very nice high school student. she never stopped running. seemed either over worked or under trained. when she asked how everything was… she kept trotting through on her way to the kitchen before we could answer. overall. it was a good evening… bargain of the century on those two evenings… food very good.

Sub par experience. Came here on a Friday night and the dining room was nearly empty. Our server was polite enough. We started with the Michael’s calamari. It was drenched in sauce to the point where it was soggy and nearly inedible. The salad that came with my meal looked like it was a week old and came out of a bag. My boyfriend got the Marsala steak tips. It was three pieces of flank steak and lukewarm mashed potatoes swimming in a flavorless Marsala sauce. I ordered the chicken Gorgonzola. Terrible choice. It turned out to be a bowl of pasta with two pieces of chicken. EXTREMELY disappointing. Not at all surprised as to why the dining room was nearly empty on a Friday night. Won’t be coming back here anytime soon.

We tried this wonderful place this evening for dinner. The atmosphere was very nice, the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The portions were sized proportionately to the price of the dishes. The only complaint I have is that I had no room for desert, maybe next time.

Love the terryaki Alfredo. My husband got shrimp scampy and he loved it. Seating is very tight in there.

I generously gave them 1 star based in the food and the service, and the fact that you can’t give them ½ a star, the atmosphere doesn’t even make the rankings. I got their Marsala tips with the garlic-basil mashed potatoes, the mashed were cold and the tips were swimming freely in a sea of Marsala, it was like that cold mushy stuff Annie used to get at the orphanage. Their personal pizza was the garlic and pepperoni laughing stock of the Italian cooks, that’s right, cooks cuz there’s no chef at this joint.

First time there and I wasn’t overly impressed unfortunately. The service was great and she handled our large party perfectly. However the food was not. I ordered the chicken Gorgonzola(on a plate) but was surprised at how little chicken was in the dish. Same for everyone else. Also the sauce was not good. It seemed rushed and the cook put too much chicken stock and it was very soupy and separated. It also could have used some mushrooms and fresh black pepper. The rolls were tasty but I notice the dipping oil was in an open bowl by the entrance, eww, can’t imagine how many people cough and sneeze into that. Also the prices were higher than I expected. Salad looked like it came out of a bag. And the beer selection was very basic. The other people in my party were not very impressed either. The atmosphere was good. Hope this helps.

I would rather go to the dentist than wash dishes, but I still manage to scoop my family’s servings of pasta into actual dishes before we eat. At Michael’s, if you forget to make a special request, you can end up eating your meal out of a dirty, ugly restaurant pan. However, eating a GOOD meal out a rusty pan wouldn’t improve the meal — and it only serves to make the awful pasta a Michael’s even less appealing. I have had several different pasta dishes and they have all been terrible. I mean close to the WORST I’ve ever eaten. My son, who is a huge chicken parm fan, refused to eat his meal on our last visit. The salads are really cheap-looking and all of flavors seem«off» to me. Is there a REAL Italian cooking and tasting these meals? I make a LOT if homemade Italian dishes at home including Eggplant Parm, Pasta Carbonara, Primavera, Sausage & Broccoli Rabe, Chicken Marsala, etc. and I would say that I can do a better job then the stuff I’ve tasted at this place. On our last visit, my awful entrée had one special ingredient: a hair. I didn’t really care because we all hated our meals anyway. I will NOT be back.
I’ve been here three times and it’s already one of my favorites. Michael’s pasta is amazing — I’ve had chicken with white wine sauce over angel hair, as well as chicken parmagiana over penne, and each time I was more than pleased. The pizza could be better, though — without cardboard underneath, the oil soaks back into the crust and quickly makes it soggy. Pasta is in their name, and it’s what they’re best at. Prices are great for the portions you get. Service has been hit-or-miss depending on the server, but the quality of the pasta made up for it. My main complaint is that the TV in the sports bar is usually too loud and can be heard all throughout the restaurant.

Came with a large group and split a large Sammy the Bull pizza with my compadre. It was dry as a bone and tasted like nothing. Since the slices were cut into squares there were a bunch of slices around the edges without any toppings at all. I had to dunk all of my pizza into the dipping sauce that they give you for the bread to enjoy it. My girlfriend got some type of pasta and the sauce was pretty tasty, but steer clear of the Za.

Made a spur of the moment stop just based on curbside appeal. Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed our meals. The food being served in the pan is interesting. The waitstaff was decent, the girl we had was good while the other older lady seemed to look kinda miserable. I gave this place three stars because it’s just average, nothing overwhelmingly good or bad.

I said Teriyaki Alfredo! Love this place. Been 4 times already and will be back. The Pro’s: Garlic dipping oil: Excellent. Kids LOVED it and so did the parents. Service: Our waitress was attentive without hovering. Gave us the time we wanted to order, but check in regularly as well. Food: What can I say, EVEN if the service stunk, I’d return. I absolutely LOVE the Michael’s Teriyaki alfredo. It’s a new take on «Crazy Alfredo» minus the sausage. I LOVE spice, so ordered extra spicy and they delivered. Chicken Gorgonzola was excellent as well. But the Teriyaki will keep me coming back! The Con’s: The Caesar salad is sad. This is the one dislike I had. Very bland, boring, very little tasty. Advice: If you are new to the restaurant and the hostess is head to the back where there are two«booths» in a small hallway, speak up! Right, and I mean RIGHT next to the bathroom. You’ll get regular«passer-bys» all dinner. These tables should be abandoned or the entrance to the bathroom needs to be reconfigured, it’s nasty. Price is average. Casual dinning as well. Atmosphere is above a pizza shop, but way again, casual, but limited investment in décor. I was concerned when I read about the owner charging for a meal not ordered. Can’t say I’ve ever experienced that and would be shocked to see it happen there. Recommend HIGHLY!

Not even one star. Our waitress was SO rude right off the bat. She told us we couldn’t sit outside because it was SO hot out. She then proceeded to complain TOUS that she had to clear the patio moments earlier and had dripping down her face. It is 75 degrees out and in the shade. She then complained to us about having to reset our table… And that we would have to wait for our drinks. Upon her return, she slammed our drinks down on the table… We got up and left. This place is definitely not recommended.

I’m sorry to say we won’t be eating here again. I’ve been eating here roughly every 5 – 8 weeks for the last 4 years. My experience last Wednesday will prevent me from ever patronizing again. An honest mistake from our server led to getting two meals that we didn’t order(no biggie). We ate one of the meals we didn’t order and sent the other back as my wife and i can’t stomach Gorgonzola. The bill arrived with both meals on it and a server that was unable to modify the amount because the owner won’t allow it. I’m sorry, but even if you put together a doggie bag to go, i’m not paying full price for an entrée that i didn’t have the ability to consume at a table with my family. Our server was genuine and made an honest mistake. I fault the restaurant«leadership» for not allowing/empowering the waitstaff to make a problem right. I left fully under the impression that the entire staff is scared of the owner and petrified of what may happen if someone screws up. I will never be back, and feel sorry for the staff. If the restaurant goes under new management i may come back to try it again. Glenn.

We love the food here!!! My favorite dish is the Eggplant Parm. Very vegetarian friendly, lots of choices. HUGEPORTIONSIZES. The bartender Pam is the best bartender around!!! The waitresses are always wonderful! Always smiling, welcoming, and friendly! They also have outdoor dining which is nice for the warmer weather.

The food had an okay flavor but wasn’t fantastic. The pork chops in my pork Gorgonzola was overlooked/dry. The chicken saltimbucco was under salt and peppered and didn’t have much flavor until we added lots of salt and pepper to the dish as well as had overcooked/dry chicken. The personal pizzas that my 10,11,&12 year olds ate were huge and seemed to be fine. The atmosphere was ok but I find a restaurant charging these prices to be quite wasteful and unclassy when they serve salad dressing in solo plastic lidded 2 oz. cups. The overall cost was pricey for what we got and quality. However service was good, unlike past reviews.
