Given the area and whats to offer for the locals of Wickliffe, Dak’s gives you everything that you need in a semi-​dive bar with cheap drinks, decent food, and fun atmosphere. The ‘regulars’ did take a little time to warm up to strangers intruding into their ‘safe-​haven’ but after a round of shots and couple beers, we were just a couple of strangers that had the same end in sight, to drink as much as we can while last call quickly approached. I admit, I did avoid Dak’s only because it did seem like a territorial type bar, but today I feel much better for checking in and seeing what this locals pub had to offer.
