Skeletons Out of the Closet is an oddities boutique, located in the Delano district of Wichita, KS, which specializes in Alternative clothing and upcycled furniture, as well as local art, figurines, decorative skulls, and handcrafted items.

History

Established in 2013.

Skeletons Out of the Closet opened October 1^th, 2013, by Jessica Olson.

Originally tagged as a furniture and home décor store, they have expanded to include many forms of clothing, such as Steampunk, lolita, gothic, and more. Many preserved specimens and unique figurines and furniture were also brought in, to give Wichita the oddities boutique it craves.

Business Owner

Jessica has a degree in social work, where she worked in the field for a few years, before becoming a stay at home mother, and continuing her varied career as a massage therapist. From there, she studied biological and social anthropology, before finally opening Skeletons out of the Closet in 2013.
