History

Established in 1987.

Signs & Design was initially run out of Mark Miller’s Wichita, Kansas garage and focused on vinyl lettering, screen printed signs and sandblasted signs. Over the years, the business continued to grow, adding employees and moving location. We stopped offering sandblasted signs, focusing instead on improving the quality and efficiency of our screen printed and vinyl signs and expanding our product line to include a wider variety of printing and surface options.

In January 2011, Mike and Carolyn Janzen purchased the business from Miller. Under the Janzens’ astute leadership, Signs & Design continues to offer superior quality, exceptional service and great value.

Signs & Design has both the creative design experience and production capacity to help you visually communicate your products, identity and services to your customers. We use the latest technology and materials available to the commercial sign, banner and graphic industry.

Business Owner

Mike Janzen was an engineer at a local aeronautical firm but grew weary of having to lay people off on a regular basis. He and his wife, Carolyn, wanted to find a local business that they could run themselves while still remaining actively involved in the community and in their two young sons’ lives.

Mike is the driving force of Signs & Design and goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction on a daily basis.
