I come here from time to time with my mother and her friends. The food is good considering it’s bar food, and it’s reasonably priced. The atmosphere, though, leaves something to be desired. The inside is dark and dingy, so I like to sit on the patio when I go in the summers for brightness and open air. Ultimately, I never choose to go, but if someone asks, I’ll go. I’d enjoy it more if the interior would be updated.

Once in a while you find a hole in the wall types of places, and this place is definitely one of them. It’s located on the corner of 21st and West. So the sharp turn you’ll see a liquor store and a small shopping mall. Walking in you’ll be greeted by a mannequin lady with a small sombrero. The walls are covered with signs of all kinds of beer. Not sure why people think it’s aesthetically pleasing. The walls are mainly dark woods with TV’s adorned everywhere. There are your pool tables and dart boards. So anything you can think of at a typical sports bar, this place has it. There are definitely a lot of places to sit, so finding a spot won’t be difficult. We were meeting a group of people, and we sat at this long table. Perfect really for groups. The menu is fairly basic and will have your typical bar foods. Sandwiches and finger foods. I ordered the Carter, which was a breaded chicken on two buns with lettuce, tomato, onion and a side of mayo. Buns were toasted from the grill, and the fries reminded me of the same ones you get from Spangles. The sandwich itself wasn’t anything to be praised for. Deep fried flavoring with a bit of pepper on it. The price of it was extremely cheap. 6.99 for the meal. Not bad honestly. Their drink specials are plenty and you can get some decent drinks here for cheap. So this place has its advantage of drinking on the cheap. Service wasn’t that good at all. She came by at first frequently to get everyone’s orders in. After that, don’t expect her to come back with silverware or anything. Everyone else got their silverware, but I did not. I ended up waiting until the people who ordered late to get a napkin. She would drop the food off quickly and disappear. I’ve seen worse, but this is probably below average. Overall, the place is okay for a hole in the wall kind of place, but it’s nothing amazing about it. There aren’t too many large signs, so most likely you will drive by it without ever knowing it existed. I only knew of this place because some friends showed up here.
