I was already a fan of Yellow Sub — the original that spawned the Planet Sub franchise — from my days in Lawrence, and while Planet Sub doesn’t quite deliver (will any sandwich ever taste as good as those served on Mt Oread?), this was still one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. I had the Green Turkey. It was very good and the bread was astounding as always.
It’s too bad that Planet Sub as a franchise doesn’t seem to carry Yellow Sub’s Italian. It was always my favorite. I was also interested in finally trying a Creamy Crab, but this location doesn’t have it, either for some reason.
