We are a professional sharpening service. We sharpen knives, scissors, chainsaw chains, mower/​edger blades, lawn and garden tools. We also service woodworking hand tools, such as planes, chisels, and hand saws. We are also proud to sharpen Eco-​friendly reel type mowers. We can service commercial accounts, with multiple items, and our quality is second to none.

We sharpen knives to a razor edge that lasts. Our motto is simple, «It shaves or it doesn’t leave». Meaning, if the knife isn’t sharp enough to shave the hair on your arm, it doesn’t leave the shop.

Started by Mark and Patrick Madden, this father and son business started as a dream. Mark has been sharpening things for friends and family for years. They look forward to serving your sharpening needs.

Business Owner

With over 30 years of sharpening experience as a hobbyist and professional, Mark learned his craft from his grandfather, who’s favorite line was, «A dull knife is a stick!» He has spent time as a blacksmith, farrier, and metal smith (including repairing brass instruments) as well as a sharpener. Mark KNOWS metal.
