We provide opportunities for children to learn and develop skills with others their own age through a well-​balanced curriculum in a Christian atmosphere. Activities are catered to, but not limited to, a child’s developmental needs. Our day includes activities that focus on development in language, social/​emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual skills. This wide range of activities is implemented in the belief that children learn through play in a learning center environment.

History

Established in 1988.

Merodee Grannis and Nancy Morrow began Jacob’s Learning Ladder Preschool in 1988 as a morning preschool program. Located in Grace Presbyterian Church, the school was sponsored as a community outreach program. In 1995, realizing the community’s need for full-​time childcare, four new classrooms were built and the center expanded to serve infants through preschool-​aged children offering both daycare and preschool. The name changed to Jacob’s Learning Ladder Preschool and Adventure Club. Today, we serve 80 to 100 families each year with children 12-​months to school age.
