Employees are great and helpful — If you’re looking for a unique or new board game, odds are they’re going to have it. There are demo games in the back of the store to show up and try something new and enough gaming space to bring a game and meet some friends and play something together. If you’re looking for Magic cards their selection is pretty good and prices are what you’d expect for a physical store. There are plenty of gaming stores in Wichita and many that are closer to me but I always end up driving across town to this one.

Came here today to check out things. Arrived a little early, they open at noon. Saw someone unlock the door right at noon, go in and lock the door. Gave them 5 – 6 minutes then walked up. Door was still locked. I was irritated and left. If your hours say you open at noon, then open at noon. I guess they must have too much business.

Visited this store for the first time last week. They had a very nice assortment of games, including some hard to find indie rpg’s. Plenty of room with quite a few tables. Will be back!

A little secret I’ve been hiding is that I’m a gamer. Not just your typical gamer that plays online shooters or RPG’s, but I’m also a hobbyist that gets down and plays on some tabletops with dice, friends and a good imagination. One of those games I play is Warhammer. The game itself is inhibitive in most cases for home play, which is why tabletop gamers often require shops to game in. If you’ve never tried it I reccomend taking a couple hours off and seeing if someone can introduce you to the hobby, usually a game called warhammer. So here’s my take on the shop: First impressions were good. The owner had just set up shop and so did not have a front counter yet, but a folding table served in place. The place was spacious and there were several places to play the various games that hobbyists enjoy. The prices seemed comparable to what other gaming shops had, and the owner said that they had a few house armies to let people try out and get used to. This is great for new players who don’t want to make a large investment into the game until they get to try it. The store was admittedly not busy, as would be expected near closing time, but I did take a minute to admire the tables. I’ve been in game shops since I was 14, I can honestly say that these tables were built for gamers by a gamer. They have the average table space for a game and an additional 2 foot for miniatures to be placed in reserve or for a dead pile. I have yet to play here, but I am very impressed with the establishment. If you get caught on the east side I would reccomend giving it a try.
