For the discerning taste, this is the place Wichita. Whether it is their polished take on classic cocktails, or their excellent execution of their food menu, you will not be disappointed.
We ordered their Shrimp & Bacon Bastone appetizer and their Nonna’s Lasagna, both of which were amazing. The owner/​bartender, Steve, is equally learned on how to perform a cocktail and overflowing with personality and charm.
Do yourself a favor and spend your evening at Steve’s place, we will absolutely make it back soon.

We had the most wonderful birthday meal for my grandma this evening. Everyone was so nice, willing to accommodate dietary requests and answer questions. The drinks were great and everything we ordered was delicious. The Pasta Verdure and Pollo Negro, in particular, were fantastic. Thanks to Chef Kyle and everyone else for a great evening.

Very friendly, accommodating staff! Had a nice time sitting outside with our dogs. Cheese plate was huge and varied — steak fries were a bit over seasoned but it might be to some folks taste. :)

*UPDATE*
Came back here with my work team and it was just as delicious as before. Try the very spicy chicken wings, and chicken tortellini soup. I will pass on the zucchini tower next time. It was ok, But kind of kind of bland compared to the other appetizer options. Still very impressed at this place.
I have been meaning to come check this place out.
Ventured over for something different in town than a steak or burger. I was absolutely blown away at how flavorful everything was.
For starters, we had the bacon wrapped artichoke hearts and shrimp skewers. Literally the best appetizer I have ever had. I was shocked. There’s this delicious tangy sauce they are served with. Absolutely bursting with flavor. The perfect size for two to share. Delicate and wonderful. Now, this is a date night appetizer, not a girls night out binging on chili fries and mozzarella stick (not that there’s anything wrong with that) it’s just not that kind of party.
For our entrees we had the shrimp and grits with roasted pork belly, and the duck sausage shells. The shrimp and grits were excellent and served with red eye gravy. The sausage shells were stuffed with just the right about of duck sausage, cheese, and covered in a very rich red sauce. Duck can be amazing or awful depending on how it’s cooked. Thank goodness they know what they are doing here. It was a perfect amount so as not to overpower the cheese in the shell, and done just right.
The service was awesome. I think the chef brought the food to the table. The waitresses were friendly, attentive little firecrackers who did not disappoint. Great ambiance and atmosphere. The owner said goodnight as we left.
This is truly a gem of Wichita and should not be overlooked if you chance a visit to the city, or live here and want a sexy date night. Totally impressed.

They have a great drink menu with prohibition style drinks and they make their own bitters and tonics. I didn’t have any cocktails tonight, but I’m sure I will at some point.

Great place. First time there. I cannot say enough about the food. I’m usually not into the gastropub or slower dining experience but this was fantastic. The price was very reasonable. The drink menu offers a wide variety to fit anyone’s taste. My wife has food allergies and the chef made accommodations so she could enjoy the meal. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I had an amazing four course dinner last night. Every part of the dinner was wonderful. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The drinks were good. However, they have a new chef who revamped the entire menu… and I was not impressed. Food was decent, but not for the price. Tried the duck appetizer (for $ 24, no less). Had never tried duck before but was very disappointed. Also had the beef tenderloins and the chicken pesto alfredo… again, not impressed. Definitely missing the old menu/​chef.

I always like to see a new restaurant succeed. Someone has put their heart and soul in it, rolled the dice in a tough game.
In the end, the customer has to enjoy the offering, or its a bust …
In this instance, they jumped into the arena unprepared to compete… sad, but way, way short of the mark.

I’ve been here about ten times and only had the best experiences at first!!! The last three times I’ve been there though have been awful. I think they got new staff and the service is just not what it used to be. If u feel like waiting half an hour for ur drink and don’t mind the servers complaining and acting like ur an inconvenience this is ur spot.

I’m about six martinis in, sitting in the patio right now. I’ve had amazing tapas, seafood linguine, and I’m working my way through this drink menu. The owner has talked to us about four times, and we saw the chef having drinks as well. Get the fancy Jell-​O shots!!! Leave a big tip, trust me.

Food wasn’t bad but, they used some spray disinfectant to clean the tables that completely took away from the food and atmosphere… Too bad but it was nauseating!

Truly a one-​of-​a-​kind experience in Wichita. Outstanding drink menu was very unique options, including drinks from the Prohibition era.
Although the food menu is small, the items are intended to be shared at the table among friends while having a drink. Try the meatball sliders they are fantastic.
On the weekends they have live music on the patio consisting of usually a three piece jazz band, very nice atmosphere.
The best thing about the place, it’s not intended for kids, it is definitely upscale, and there’s nothing else like it in Wichita.
If you want to very interesting first time Prohibition era cocktail try the scofflaw.
Remember it is a small place, so seating is very limited. The patio seats just about as many as the interior. If you’re wanting to stay for a while, you should probably come early to make sure you get seats for your entire party.

Unique!!! Awesome drinks! Service was amazing. Very friendly staff. Calamari was ok. Pb&j wings were crazy good.

Had lots of appetizers, just small space but have outdoor seating too. simple setting, waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful with menu and drinks. My husband felt a little underdressed for the place, he thinks it needs to be dressy, so a little pricey for the finger foods and drinks but it tasted good.

I have been here two times already and the drinks are always great! They are very unique and I always try to order different ones every time I go. The lychee martini was delicious. We went on a Monday once with half price martinis and on a Wednesday with half price wine glasses. Definitely a great deal.
They also do cheaper wings on Wednesdays and we ordered the garlic wings the last time we went. It was so overly salted that my friend and I both stopped eating after one wing. Flavor was good but soooo salty.
One thing that really bothers me is the odor in the establishment. It was so overpowering both times I went. We just sat on the patio to avoid it. I would also avoid the Jelloooooo on the menu, I shared it with the table and no one enjoyed it. Some of the textures and flavors were really weird. I did like the idea though!
I’ll be back for more of their eclectic martinis however, that’s a solid A+!

Good tapas, Great cocktails, relaxing atmosphere, and wonderful service. Every time we have been this place has hit on all cylinders. This is a refreshing change in a town that has traditionally been over run with the «club scene». You can tell that the GM Steve takes real pride in his business and in his work and we really appreciate it! Quite often that is hard to find. We will be frequenting this establishment

You guys have to try the family style spaghetti lunch. Brian and I got to experience it last Saturday. It’s family style, but it’s super nice. The place settings are spaced out enough so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. The food was great: antipasti platter included prosciutto (FTW!), salad, there were two kind of pasta dishes, a sausage dish, and then dessert is included also. Dessert was so good that Brian ate it even though it wasn’t chocolate. Anyway, I don’t think they can turn out a bad meal. Also, it’s a bargain at $ 12 pp so you can’t afford not to check it out.
My favorite part is the atmosphere and experience of sitting at the long tables with other people. It’s a great way to meet new people. The folks we dined with on Saturday were super friendly and nice and I never would have met them if it weren’t for the lunch experience. I’m definitely going back!

Stopped by for after dinner drinks. Loved the intimate black & white interior and friendly conversation with bartender/​owner. Nice small plates menu. Will be back!

First time in. Place is right next door to my hotel, marriott courtyard old town. Been open 1 week. Sunday afternoon is quiet, fast service. Great drink and food menu. Dirty martini was perfect. Great appetizers small plates. Grissini & Tapenade app is a great nosh. Kahlua pork belly sliders are a must have.

Swanky but very laid-​back drinking atmosphere for grownups… Good wine selection and drink menu. Tried an Italian wine called Santi. It’s a nice light, slightly fruity red wine. Very easy to drink. If a whiskey lover, try the one with Single Barrel Jack. served in a frozen ball that you get to crack open! It was limited food menu but I tried the PB&J Wings — love them! Wings glazed with Thai peanut sauce & spicy jelly. Delicious. I’m excited to see how the final menu turns out. Very Attentive wait staff and management.
