Meet the Business Owner

Patrick and Timirie S.

Business Owner

Patrick Shibley has literally grown up in the restaurant business as his father owned and operated numerous restaurants during his lifetime in Wichita, most notably «Kamiels» back in the 1970s. Patrick has worked all aspects of the restaurant business, from the back of the house to General Manager of a fine dining restaurant chain over a staff of 150+. In September of 2012 he along with his wife, Timirie Shibley decided to open the Doo-Dah Diner at a location many said would never make it. After nearly 2 years in operation, it’s evident by the constant waits on the weekends, that the uniqueness of his «from scratch» cooking, that many appreciate a kitchen that prepares everything from scratch, using the finest freshest ingredients. Specials are special chef creations, not what’s left over in fridge. He demands lots of love put into every dish that is served, and has very high expectations. He leads an army on the cook line, and his voice can be heard throughout the 92 seats.
