Great pizza, they also have a few other non-pizza items on the menu that are delicious. He ingredients are fresh, probably from a farmers market, prices are good and most importantly it’s a family operated business, and everyone is so nice. Especially Analisa and Jen. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely the best pizza in the area. A little pricey which is to be expected, but worth it. This is strictly a take out location so I only gave four stars based on the location, but pizza is five stars. Tried the anti-pasta salad, not a big fan, BUT let me tell you about that pizza. Yum!

Business: Clean locale, courteous service. Ingredients: Fresh! Balanced use of homemade marinara sauce that doesn’t drown the crust. Dough is flavorful, with a crisp crust and bread like inside without being heavy. Flexible crust that stands being folded or eaten with fork and knife. Simply delicious! Thank you local Unilocalers for helping us find this gem of a place. Free wifi available but down at moment of review. No biggie! :)

Normally I would have been crazy for this place. I used to live in Monrovia & always had pizza from the Pizza Co. there & the one in Duarte. But, sadly I don’t really care for the pizza here. I was surprised that the crust didn’t seem to taste the same & for some reason I always got burnt crust on the uptown special. So our go to is Brickhouse…

I recently moved to this area a month ago. I discovered this place because I was craving pizza. I usually order a Personal(4 slice mini) pepperoni pizza and it was amazing! Its got a deep dish style flavor that is not too filling and but delivers power in each bite. All that for $ 6. This place is never packed and you can order in ahead of time. For me it gets the 1 star extra because its within walking distance and I feel productive just walking here and home after I eat. If you’re in Uptown Whittier and looking for a pizza place I would try Uptown Pizza Co.

I wish I could give this place Zero stars! My husband and went there the other day to grab a bite to eat and we ordered 2 sandwiches and it came quick. However, the sandwiches were gross to eat and look at. I ordered the turkey sandwich and it looked like the meat was sliced off a sponge. You could literally see small holes in it. Poor quality ingredients, which lead to poor taste. Will not be going back!

The service and delivery was good. However, the pizza was disappointing. The sauce was too runny, the mushrooms were paper thin and there was so much cheese that was pretty much all you tasted and it made it taste very salty. No thank you.

Deliscious pizza! The cheese is perfectly melted and the flavor of the marinara sauce is perfect!!! This is our new go to spot. Prior to trying co. My husband and I would order pizzamania but the quality has gone down hill. The pizza flavor has been drowned in watery marinara sauce. We look forward to having this pizza on the weekend and letting out friends and family know this is a must try local joint!!! U won’t be disappointed.

I wanted to like this place but I came away disappointed. For starters, when I called at 3pm, which is not exactly rush hour, I was told my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived in exactly 20 minutes and still waited another 25 minutes before my order was ready. 45 minutes is a lot longer than 20 minutes. The pizza itself was passable, but nothing special. The cheese was ok but the pepperonis were really thin. Pizzamania uses much better ingredients and for the price, I’d much rather get an $ 8 deep dish pizza from Piara Pizza. I also ordered something on their menu referred to as «Strips» because the description sounded nice: «Our homemade dough sliced and powdered with garlic and parmesan, served with 2 dipping sauces.» What I got was a box with about 20 pieces of plain baked pizza dough/bread and two dipping sauces. If there was garlic and parmesan on these pieces of bread, I couldn’t tell because they tasted like boring pieces of bread. I ate one piece and, sadly, threw the rest away because I can’t believe I just paid for a bunch of plain bread. In the end, I paid about $ 30 for par pizza, a box of bread I can’t believe is even a menu option and a decent side salad that was ready 25 minutes later than I was told it would be.

I’ve had plenty of pizzas in my time. Stuft Pizza, Pizzamania, Virginia Creek, Roundtable, Red Hills Pizza. but never this place. I read reviews and it was highly regarded as the best pizza in Whittier. So I gave it a try with my girlfriend. The crust was by far the best crust I’ve ever had. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It didn’t have that doughy taste like other pizza places and the toppings actually STUCK to the pizza! Depending on what you order, there may be a bit of grease at the bottom so I’d recommend getting 2 – 3 toppings max.(We had jalapenos and sausage, so no grease!) The price is right and the workers are very nice. However, if you’re going there with a big group of people(4 and over) you might find the place crowded. It’s really hard to tell if it’s just as good as Pizzamania or just slightly below it, but overall it’s a must-eat pizza place. I give it a 4.5÷5

First off let me just say that everyone here is very friendly. they greet you as you walk in and make conversation while you wait. five-star for that… now for the food.. I think this is one of the better pizza that I’ve tasted in town. its extremely reasonable the flavor is outstanding and the crust is what puts over the top. so next time your in town you should definitely stop to try some of this great pizza.

Great place management and employees are really cool! You can watch your pizza being made fresh. Eat in or take home. Pizzas are worth the prices. They also have other types of food like sandwiches, wings, and salads. I definitely will be trying to taste everything since it is now my new favorite spot! :) Thank you Uptown crew!

Came here while doing laundry. Very cool and retro feeling independent pizza shop. The crew were very friendly and the food was almost as good as their hospitality.

This place is now my favorite pizza place in Whittier for mom and pop tasting pizza! 1. Quality ingredients 2. Generous w/toppings 3. Excellent crust It’s really rare for me to straight out and say a place is my favorite but this place has earned that title. On my first visit I noticed the place was the typical hole in the wall place located in small shopping square. As I entered I was welcomed very warmly by the staff and they answered all my immediate questions. My pie of choice was the«Uptown Special» and it was so delicious! The richness of the sauce was delicious on a thin but very tasty thin crust generously topped with veggies and meats. If you haven’t tried the Uptown Special I suggest you give it a shot and I guarantee you’ll be very pleased you did!
