It is a quality education. My only reserve, hence only four stars, was their policy to keep students from taking the boards if they didn’t pass the benchmark exams which they called ACE (Acupuncture) or ICE (Chiropractic). There were a couple instructors that were undesirable, but that is to be expected with any institution. Overall the Dean, Admissions, Financial Aid, the library, Student Affairs were all excellent. I would recommend SCU.

I attend this school for my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. This program is great for sciences and diagnosis if you’re looking to not just be a chiropractor but also a doctor. The programs here is tough and you definitely put your time into it. When you leave you will definitely become smarter and able to help people. If you put time into studying and training to be a Doctor of Chiro you will leave an amazing doctor.

The worst school ever. All they care is to get your money. The student website is down most of the time specially during midterm or finals in the classroom you don’t get any internet connection which bothers you the most. Overall it is not a good school to go to.

This is the best university to get your science prerequisites completed. I have taken 3 science classes here and received a grade of «A» in each. Nice parking lot and I feel 100% safe on this campus. Located in a nice area, too.

Like a teaching hospital, they have a clinic, where an intern takes care of you thoroughly while being supervised by a professor. If you have Kaiser or other insurance, they will likely provide you with a referral to an outside Accupunture provider, and this university will likely take that insurance. That is helpful for treatment costs. You’ll be grateful that they take good care of you and ask very detailed questions about your life and case history, including your physical and emotional health. They have practitioners available for Accupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage, Ayurveda and Tradition Chinese for your treatment. The only thing they could improve is the pricing of the herbal medicines, which seems higher than Chinatown :)

I use Ayurveda services here. They are available 3 days a week, they are amazing. They offer life style, diet treatments and ayurvedic massage. Its a bit of money to see someone but you get a doctor, psychologist, nutritionist all in one

Going to a chiropractor is generally expensive, especially because a lot of them just want to get you in, do a couple of quick adjustments and get you out the door and on to the next one.
Not the case here.
Since you’re seen by students, they really take their time and try to get the most out of your pain, by learning from it and trying to help you as many ways as they can, under the guidance of one of the doctors on staff, I recommend Dr. Glenn. He’s who I make my appointments under, and seriously he’s great. Any time I have some serious pain, I make my way here, it’s a bit of a trek from my house, but totally worth it because it’s much less than a regular chiropractor and you get so much more in the treatment. They also have cold laser and all kinds of fun stuff here.
If you’re in pain and don’t want to break the bank on some chiropractic treatment, def check this place out.

Blown away by the professionalism of the students and Dr Neally. Their ability and patience in working with my toddler has been amazing. They have brought a lot of comfort and knowledge in dealing with some unknown medical issues with my toddler and I am beyond thankful. It is reassuring to be helped by people that actually care about health and getting to the cause and treating with supplements/​probiotics and chiropractic care rather than masking the symptoms with pharmaceuticals. Definitely recommend this place for children!

Best Grad School if you want to pursue the chiropractic, acupuncture, Ayurvedic medicine careers. The school also offers massage therapy program.

Came here bc they were on my list of doctors on my PPO plan. I pulled a muscle in my upper back while helping a friend move which created pinched nerve and caused pain in my left arm and neck. I tolerated the pain for over a week and decided to get help.
My first visit was detailed and included x rays, body exam, neck and back adjustment. I felt an improvement immediately and my second visit included ultrasound, scraping, neck and back adjustment. I’m feeling much better after two treatments and will continue treatments for the next several weeks.
In addition to chiropractic services, acupuncture treatment is offered also. BTW If you don’t have insurance they accept payment at discounted prices. I’m so glad I discovered this place.

This place is alright. They offer acupuncture and chiropractic services.
They seem very professional and the price is a lot less. This is cause they procedures are performed by students rather than the actual doctor. However the Doctor is there when they do adjustments and so forth.
All in all its good deal only bad is they ask many questions and a for sample chiropractic adjustment that normally will take just a few minutes can take as long as almost 2 hours in some cases.

Teachers are great. Organized, and straight to the point. just what I needed.

My daughter’s Volleyball team «Protégé» practice here weekly the gym is a good size they can fit 3 courts in here, the campus is really nice, but not the Tennis courts I wish they will fix it so I can play while waiting for her

Thank you SCU! I recommend Dr. s Caldwell & Hwang for acupuncture, really many of the doctors there are great. It is a learning institution, so you’ll need extra time for each appointment. VERY AFFORDABLE. Clean, easy to find. Great parking. I’ve been visiting SCU since September 2012, as a complimentary treatment for breast cancer. It supported me in so many ways but primarily I got relief from anxiety, nausea/​appetite after chemo treatments, hot flashes/​night sweats. I’ve also boosted my immune system (or kept it bolstered) through surgery & radiation with regular weekly treatments plus Chinese herbs. I’m now being treated for itching & fatigue from radiation. Wonderful staff. Friendly, kind. Many of the students genuinely care about your health & well-​being. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend SCU.

My boyfriend, per his Acupuncturist, was told that he can make an appointment at this clinic to address his back and neck issues. Although I was misinformed, we showed up without an appointment, as a new patient, and the folks were flexible enough to squeeze us in. Although this clinic is run by both doctors and students, there is the chance that you will be told conflicting things (just be prepared to ask the doctor for the final say). When my boyfriend got realigned, the sound his back and neck made just creeped me out. However, he felt loads better so I am guessing the student did a really good job. He has gone back a couple times, but, not recently, due to location and time issues, but he does feel a little better and I have to nag him to get back with it.

Definitely try to see dr. Hwang for acupuncture! Don’t waste your time with chiro unless you are under 12yrs old and it’s free. Even then I would still consider whether I’d want to go…
Don’t go to acu school here, unless you like being treated like you’re a child, you have money to burn on ridiculous fees, extra time to complete ridiculous amounts of paperwork and you want to waste your time attending classes. There are some experienced faculty here, but you need to find them and then you have to hope they are good teachers.

As a patient here, if your main objective is price and you have 2 hours to give up for each of the first few visits, then go for it! Its a teaching institution and your going to get someone with (if your lucky) about 3 mos experiance. its decent place and ive been adjusted here and also gone thru the accupuncture treatments as well. Its a school, and im not a lab rat.

Whittier hides many secrets but sometimes you can find them and when this happens you of course want to tell the whole world about it!
I have never heard of this school before but come to find out that they do acupuncture and chiropractic treatments. They treat you really well and also very respectable. I have since enjoyed my treatments and loved how clean and very sanitized this place is. I am strange about that but I can say this place passes the bar.
Parking is easy to find you just park in the patient section and walk right in. Either make an appointment or go to the front desk and ask if they have any available.
I have done both treatments with acupuncture and chiropractic. Acupuncture is very old and many people know is as Chinese traditional medicine with lots of needles. Don’t be alarmed the needles aren’t large and they won’t puncture your skin and leave a scar. After getting a few acupuncture treatments you will feel great and you might want to keep coming !
Chiropractic is more than just cracking backs they heal your body as well and also help many patients that are from car accidents, back problems and sport injuries.
A little advice is that you have to be comfortable and relaxed in any of these situations for treatments to go well and sometimes it is hard because you get a little bit nervous. But just breathe ! :)

I come here for sports medicine and chiropractic care. If you have PPO insurance that covers this type of care definitely come here! I see Dr. Guimard and he is great!

Came here to watch a musical in the Blue Moon Theatre at this site. The only downer about this venue is the $ 5 parking charge.
The venue has ten rows of seating, and is more of a converted lecture hall. It seats over 300 people. The view isn’t bad, regardless of where you are seated.
The musical that I saw, «New Kid In Town», was excellent. It was more of a dance performance to Eagles songs, with a live cover band, Hotel California, playing throughout. The performance was different from what is playing at the local theaters around. I’m looking forward to what’s playing next here.
