History
Established in 2001.
I started Pegasus Ponies & Petting Zoos to provide children of all ages with the opportunity to experience the joy and pleasure of riding ponies. We bring the pony rides directly to the children. By doing so, the children can play with and get to know the ponies. We also aim to teach kids about our animals, including how to care for them and what they eat.
Having a pony ride offers wonderful memories and excitement for everyone who attends the event. Allow our professionally-trained handlers to help your guests or clients have a wonderful time riding the ponies. In addition to pony rides, we offer petting zoos. My petting zoo is a little bit different than other companies. All of my animals are together in 1 enclosed area (no animals are left in cages to only look at). Standard Zoo includes 15 – 18 farm animals. All our animals are bathed and groomed before leaving the ranch.

Business Owner
At 4yrs old I received my first pony named copper. I grew up ridding at Sunset Ranch Hollywood. In the 3rd grade I got my second pony Vallintina, I worked the Rent Horse string on Friday Night for the Night Ride & Saturday & Sunday as well. I was taught not to be afraid of horses. That is where my no fear aditude came from. I moved to a new neighborhood in the 6th grade. By then I had graduated from ponies to an Arabian Horse. She had been a 100 mile indurrance racer before she came to Sunset. I now was at San Pasqual Stables in So. Pasadena. I liked that you could take a horse over a big jump. I always had to work for my Pony or Horses monthly board. I baby sat for a ridding instructor and in exchange she would give me English ridding lessons. I learned how to ride English bareback. I could not afford a saddle. Without having Ponies or Horses in my life growing up I would not be the Women I am today. Being around children and Livestock makes me happy. I’m very Lucky to Love What I DO.
