I went in today craving shrimp and I have never been to this place because I heard a lot of bad things about it. Well I decided to give this place a chance and I should’ve just listened. my dad spend 60 $ on 2 fish tacos, a small amount of shrimp ceviche, and agua chiles. To start off the agua chiles is literally just lemon literally 7 shrimps soaked in what tastes like tajin and lemon covered with loads of tomato cucumbers and a lot of onion. Very disappointed.

My nostalgic go-to spot for mariscos. Great mariscos and selection. Just plain good. Don’t like the fact that I have to walk around the street corner to get cash out though. After all these years, still no credit/debit accepted.

Great lil spot in Whittier to come too. Outdoor seating. Amazing ceviche. I always get 2 when I go. Parking lot is a bit sketchy cause it’s dark. But if you love seafood this is a great place to come too. Cash only is the only downfall.

Ceviche de camarones! That’s what my coworkers and I always get here and it’s so good! The ceviche is fresh and the amount of acidity is perfect! And they give you a crunchy tostada and packets of Tapatio sauce. They give you generous portions and it’s really cheap! The cons to this place is that there’s usually a really long line and sometimes you have to park on the street because the lot is full.

Love this place. Their shrimp ceviche is the best. Its cash only and they don’t sell beer but you can bring your own. They have music on the weekends and came be too loud but if you don’t mind it then its cool. They recently added sushi to the menu. I’m not to tempted to try that. Lol.

Cash only. I wish I knew this; the ATM charged almost $ 3. This place is 2 blocks from my house so I came on a Sunday evening with my mom. I wanted to have a light dinner so I got a cocktel de camaron. They serve this in a styrofoam cup. Kinda small for the medium size($ 7). Not good! It was just water, cucumber, tomatoes and shrimp. So tasteless. It needed clamato and avocado; isn’t that standard?! Fish tacos $ 2.75 were good. They were cut in squares and fried. Also, if you hate Banda like I do, don’t go on the weekend. It is so loud that you can’t hold a conversation and while the music is playing no one gets their food. They have to call out a string of numbers in between sets. They also seemed to have sushi; I wanted to try it but the prices for a rolls seemed steep I don’t know if I’d be back.

I’ll be very very brief ladies and gents when your craving fresh tasty ceviche look no further than El Paisa. I would call this the gold standard for ceviche great oysters too by the way, but unfortunately you gotta ask for ice… What!!! … Isn’t it against the rules not to have your oysters on a bed of ice, anyway that’s a small price to pay for such quality food. They have also added sushi rolls which I have not and will not try any time soon! So here’s my advice avoid the sushi menu stick to the ceviches, oysters, molcajete diablos, and you will leave happy every time my friends!!!

Music too loud! There’s a live conjunto on weekends and they are SO loud. The food itself is okay, the shrimp ceviche is really good. Shrimp cocktail could use a little move flavor and doesn’t include avocado(extra) but the shrimp are cooked perfectly. It’s a hole-in-the-wall shack, rustic type setting. But good for a mariscos fix on a hot day.

This place was absolutely disgusting! Waste Of 40 $ spent, we ordered two shrimp cocktails, and a «sushi» plate, the shrimp cocktails were basically thrown in water with no flavor and it literally looked like they just threw in a handful of cucumbers. The sushi had cream cheese in it and some type of fish seasoning, I would never recommend anyone here. First and last visit !

I like the Shrimp coctail. Shrimp, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers. I do wish the cucumbers pieces were a little bigger. The juice in coctail is clear. I guess you’re supposed to add ketchup to your liking. I just put tapatío and lemon. I asked for extra avocado expecting to pay for it but nope it was no charge… The fish taco was good but don’t expect one piece of fish. It served with«popcorn fish» tiny pieces… So no I will not order fish tacos in the future… The service was pretty quick so don’t be alarmed if you see a crowd.

Cash only ** They have an ATM there for convenience. Came on Good Friday and the place was packed at noon. After I left work the place still had hoards of people and a big ol’ line! The menu is pretty expansive. They have sushi(weird right?) and the usual seafood variety. I opted for tacos and cerviche! The fish taco came out with fish nugget pieces. I still prefer Taco Baja’s fish taco. –We ordered the shrimp and fish ceviche, small size. You can order jumbo styrofoam cups of it so that was nice! I like the shrimp more than the fish. What to order? Highly suggested = Shrimp Taco. It was my favorite even though the shrimp was luke warm.

This review is only for the tostada de jaiba that I ordered. It was extremely plain :/ I was so excited to try this place, and this tostada was eh. My cousin said her tostada of shrimp was better. maybe I’ll try that or something else next time. They also had a large menu with sushi items: o But of course they were like Mexican sushi stuff. Seemed tasty. I think I’ll try some of it :)

Love the Ceviche d camaron! I normally get it in a cup! Prices seem fair! I normally come in Friday’s and it seems they always have a norteño playing! Which I enjoy! Workers are blah! Not to friendly but not rude, just dry! Ceviche, mixtas are all on point, but the Rolls are not good at all! Stay away from those!
