Lucky Thai Cuisine

Beef larb salad was our starter. The Shrimp Pad Thai and Pak Prik was awesome. Steamed rice was a little off kilter, they used to have tastier jasmine rice. Tea was spot on. The water is not filtered but drinkable. Great environment to share food and great convo. They are a touch slow on service, but it’s all good.

0 stars everything we tried to order they said they were out of. I order from there for delivery quite a bit and was always satisfied but this time i didnt get my food at all watched my wife eat her dinner then asked for mine he said i orderd nothing a quickly asked for the bill and they did nothing to try to make it right so no tip and i will never ever eat here again.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try a local tai restaurant. We found this little spot, and where happily surprised by our experience. Walking in, we where greeted with a funky odor that did not seem it belonged in there. However, i held my pre judgment till after. We where the only ones, which allowed us first dibs to any seat we wanted. The soccer game was on the television,(kinda loud) and we where quickly greeted and seated. The menu is glossy and with the lights reflecting down, its difficult to see if not angled correctly. No biggie, i new what i wanted, which was yellow curry chicken and rice. My girlfriend chose the pad tai chicken. Our food came out reasonably quick. Well presented and my first taste was delicious. Id admit it was a bit on the spicy side, but i like it that way. Overall the food was well presented and well cooked. The potato was a bit undercooked, because I prefer soft (like a baked potato). Same issue with the carrots, however the curry was on point. It was fully cooked after inspecting it, just preference i guess. The pat tai was good, and the chicken was cut in small decent size pieces. the pat tai was presented nicely and great flavors.
The 4 stars are based on the courteousness of the waitress, who checked on us more then once. The food was brought out quickly, well displayed, and was tasty.
The only draw backs that kept this from 5 stars where, small preferences and prices. We ordered a tai tea which came out in a small jar, and for the price you would think a refill would be obliged but we where charged twice after a refill. Second, the rice portion seemed small. I ordered the fried rice for an extra 1.50. I had to asked for an extra side of white rice for my curry soup (I like to put it in my curry). Over-​all a good experience, local, good eats, which allowed us to eat what we where craving.

Fresh!!! The food was delicious and the guy in the front is very nice. Not greasy at all, everything tasted fresh and I didn’t feel fat and sick after I ate lol. I felt light and fresh. This place is added to our rotation!

We have been experimenting with EAT and enjoying delivery. Today we tried Lucky Thai. We judge a Thai place by its fresh spring rolls because there is no where to hide so to speak. The were no glass noodles in them? That’s not good. But the cashews with vegetables was great and the chicken salad was very good!

The food is moderate, and not consistent – one day spicy is a 10 the next time you order spicy is mild. Some dishes are better than others so make sure you experiment because it is hit or miss finding your favorite entries.

This place is 5 minutes away from my job! The food is delicious I came in for lunch. I had the pad Thai, basil chicken, and can’t forget the sticky rice mango. Omg to die for. Simply delicious. A must try

Love this new neighborhood gem! Service and food were impeccable, the drunken noodles and thai basil fried rice were great selections. The spice level definitely hits the spot. So happy to have this new establishment within walking distance in the Little City of Falls Church.

Not sure how this place received a four star rating. Took my family here the other day and I regret stepping foot in this establishment. Our waitress was rude and inattentive. She didn’t even look like she wanted us there. But the worst part of this experience was the food. Nothing tasted fresh. I had the spicy lemon fish and it tasted like it was boiled straight out of the freezer. My wife had the shrimp pad thai. The noodles weren’t bad, but the shrimp tasted like rubber. There are so many places to get good Thai food in SoCal, this isn’t one of them.

I was really disappointed in this place, food was horrible, flavorless and tough to eat. I was completely grossed out. The service was not that good either, she was rude and unaccommodating. I don’t recommend this place and will never return.

I’d like to give this restaurant a more positive review, but I can’t. I’ve ordered for both pickup and delivery in the past and had no problems. Until now.
I am sans-​automibile atm so I decided to call for a delivery. According to Unilocal,I’m exactly 2.5 miles away (well within their supposed 3 mile delivery radius, screencap uploaded). This, however, is apparently untrue. The gentleman whom I spoke with on the phone stated that I am not within their delivery radius. After telling him that I’ve ordered delivery several times before from them, he then states that it’s lunch time (11:35) and they will be over an hour.
Dude, in case you actually read the Unilocal reviews, this is for you: You don’t have to lie, just tell me that your too damned lazy to do a job that you charge $ 2 extra for.
Overall the food here is just mediocre, and with the business being rude it makes me far less enthusiastic about returning.

This place is super accomodating to vegans. Generally, curries use fish sauce but they are willing to make it vegan by using a combination of sea salt and other things. Let me tell you, i ordered the red curry with tofu and it was very filling. I could’ve split it between two people if I wasnt so hungry. They also have a lunch special from 12 to 3 so thats nice.

My toddler is one of the pickiest eaters of all things Thai and Chinese, so for him to be happy with Lucky Thai Cuisine is a win-​win for my family and I! Last night was our second time ordering from them and we couldn’t have been happier. Great food. Great attention to delivery comments/​detail. Prompt service. Highly recommend!

I liked this place but attitude is so bad. I came in for take out one night and the owner was so rude. I was on the phone with my boss and asked for a pen and I grabbed napkin from the table to write my order. The owner looked at me and said napkins are only for customers!!! I replied back «I am customer and but she rolled her eyes mumble as she ripped my debit card from my hands. Comes back gives me food no thank you and no nothing. The food was horrible .

I came in for lunch. I thought it was one of those, places you ordered at register. No one asked me if it was for here or to go. I sat down they brought it in to go. I said it was for here and the lady got mad at me and told me I need to order at table. There is no need for rudeness in restaurant industry. The guy at register was, really nice.

I dont know how this place was like before the new management… but with the new its really tasty. Its a hole in the wall type of spot but they serve up a good wonton soup… Pad Thai with tofu and shrimp… And shrimp fried rice. Def will come back when we are in the area. Great serving sizes flavorful.

Well, that was good! The tom yum with shrimp pot was the usual size, the broth was lemony and spicy and it had generous portions of mushrooms and shrimp, (about 10).
There were tiny chunks of the thin chilis that are wickedly spicy for such a small pepper.
The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and on a Sunday evening somewhat busy– always a good sign.
I will return to try other dishes.
Although I saw no pictures of the Royal Family, the owners are Thai.

You know how hard it is to find, delicious, satisfying vegan food?
I let the server know I was vegan and they made me a vegan pad see ew with veggies.
Seriously, the best Thai food I ever had. Not only best vegan food but best Thai food. They make most of the food vegan so it’s awesome!
I’m coming back for sure to try the fried rice and more!

Yum, yum, yum! My handy Unilocal app always leads me the right way. I was craving fried rice so bad for over a week so I finally had to get it with the family since we were already out running errands. I found this place that was close by… good reviews=me showing up!
I looked online at their menu and ended up calling it in to take it to go. We ordered pad Thai noodles, fried rice of course, and orange chicken on top of white rice.
Thai pad noodles– it was really good. The flavors were enjoyable and the noodles really soft. It was a tad bit too greasy, still good though
Fried rice– so yummy! They sliced big chunky of white onion in there which added so much flavor. I loved every bite of it. Only suggestion… tad bit salty.
Orange chicken over white rice– the rice was cooked perfectly, not a single hard grain. The orange chicken was small but delicious. I liked that it came on top of rice. It also came with a sliced orange, so cute!
The service was friendly and the food was good, I’ll be back!
