They cancelled on me three times! The first apt they gave me was a month ago and three days before my appt they tell me it’s canceled (smh) Apparently they’re struggling with keeping apt cause they only have one person massaging with hot stones and she was going to be out for a few days. I understand when things come up but if you’re In a business offering services through Groupon then you should have a back up so the business continues and your customers are happy. I never have posted bad reviews but now I realize how important it is to expose these things so it does not happen to others.
Worst part is that these massages were a gifts for my mom and sister.
I score it one star because the receptionist was always sorry. At the end it’s not her fault, it’s the owner the one that should evaluate and care.

IMPRESSED is what I am! I only had a 15 min chair massage with Kim today, and She was wonderful! I work at the hospital across the street from the Whittier location, sometimes they offer massages to the staff. I really needed this today, and I will definitely be going back for other services as well as massages with Kim! Thank you so much! See you soon!

Came here because I brought a groupon and I fell in love with this place as soon as I am half-​way through with my European facial. I have been searching around the area for a good facial place that I can go to on a regular basis since the old place I went to closed down for business. Claire took care of me on my visit and it was a extremely pleasant and relaxing. She gave me full attention and was super professional with her facial and head and neck massages. I felt really relaxed and I love how the whole experience went. I am considering joining their membership program to come back on a regular basis. Definitely worth every penny coming here. Please take my money!

My second time coming in for a deep tissue massage. It was as amazing as I can remember. The massage therapist is very educated on what she does for you. The pressure was perfect and strong. I really like that she informed me of where I was tight and needed to stretch. It felt so amazing as it was happening. She focused on my problem areas and made sure to massage out my stress balls. The service from when you barely walk in all the way till you walk out the door is definitely the kind of service I was looking for. The first time I came in it was with a groupon but after trying other places, I’ve grown to love KMC more. Permanent customer because even with full price, it’s an amazing deal.

Waiting room is a bit unusual, but the staff is friendly and my masseuse Kim was among the best I’ve ever experienced. Arrived only 5 mins prior to my appt and entered the massage room after 5 mins after the scheduled appt time, but was still given a full 60 min massage. KIM WAS AWESOME… true Thai-​style that was both deep tissue while manipulating my arms and legs to best get into areas that might be tense. She was among the best masseuse I’ve ever had, and that includes numerous 5* resorts around the globe. Upon check out the staff advised of several offers that I’ll utilize, as I’ll definitely return. Excellent experience.

Great Experience!!! Staff was was very nice and helpful. It was my first time ever getting a facial and Claire, my esthetican, made me feel comfortable like I was home. She made my face hydrated and glowing after my one session. She provided me with educated information on keeping my face healthy. I will definitely return again for a facial and a massage.

Found this spa through groupon and decided to give it a try. Just had my facial here and I loved it. Couldn’t tell which products were being put on my face since it’s not announced, but it felt good. The facial and shoulder massage is so good, that made me wanted for more. The place is cozy and the staff is super nice. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this place! Took the wife to this place recommended by several close friends and we both had the most amazing relaxation experience.
Wife had her facial done by Claire and I had my deep tissue massage by Kim. Have to say that I actually fell asleep during the process which never happens.
Wife came out of the facial looking like a million bucks and ten years younger — even though she already looks young to begin with — before I get killed.
Overall, I really liked the service and most importantly the feeling we both got after the service. We even purchase a skin care product line called Skim D’Amour set and have been using it diligently because the results were immediate; less fine lines and wrinkles. Highly recommended.

Very impressive. Came here with my teenage daughter for birthday facials and I must say what a pleasant experience we had. Clair was very comforting and informative, she truly has a passion for what she does and it shows, her technique and her flow are awesome! Extractions did hurt a bit but to be honest Clair warned me of it and handled me with care. Pain is beauty right. Overall, my experience was above and beyond, pricing is great, atmosphere is gorg, and relaxing. My daughter & I both enjoyed our services and will be returning in the near future thanks KMC you really delivered today and the pink rose at the end was a nice touch.

I was contacted by KMC’s Supervisor Gloria as part of a new community outreach promotion they are starting to do with area business owners. I came in and although the building is not an eye catcher (nothing they can do about this), the office itself is quite a sight. Cool looking furniture and clean office equipment/​set up make the whole experience very inviting. Staff was courteous and seemed to really be interested in genuine conversation with you. Overall great experience and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I got a facial with the help of Groupon. Clare was my esthetician and she was great. Wasn’t rough, not even with the extractions. I even fell asleep I was so comfortable. Very enjoyable and will definitely come back.
One thing I was expecting but didn’t receive was some advice on skin care. I have received facials in the past and although it had been quite some time since the last one I knew what to expect. After the facial was over, no one offered me water which is key after any facial or massage. The esthetician always makes sure to tell you to HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE. Not one word or any recommendations on skin care. I don’t even know the products they used on me which I must say I really liked and if they would have offered I would have probably purchased. That was the only negative but overall I did enjoy. Prices weren’t bad for manicures and pedicures and if I can get the full spa service for those items I will definitely be back for those.
I would recommend for anyone to go. They also offer acupuncture, massage, and other line of spa services. Friendly customer service.

I had another massage from thube and my mom got her first facial w clare. Me and my mom are definitely coming back. Thube and Clare knows their craft! Thank you again ladies :)

Got a facial from here from Groupon and used it right away.
Was super pumped and they were more than accommodating for making me comfortable prior to laying down for an hour.
The facial and talk during the facial was awesome. The technician was great.
Only negative portion was the extractions. The tool that was used was sharp and rough and left my skin red and puffy after I left. Not only that one of the clogged pores I had before I came in on my cheek wasn’t fully extracted causing a HUGE red pimple/​bump that’s lasted over a week. I’ve had many extractions before and this one I have to say was the most painful I’ve ever experienced.
Other than that the entire staff was awesome. If I come back I might go without the extractions.

I came in on a LS coupon and was intrigued by the name, turns out it is the owner’s initials. Okay. I also thought the pictures in the Unilocal ad were clipped from Her Royal Highness’ wish catalogue, they are not! I called a week in advance and was able to clearly communicate my preference of time and therapist, so far so good.
The day of the appointment I rolled into the area armed with my TomTom and was deposited in the hospital parking lot, which is a confusing affair. I remember being told that KMC could validate my parking, so I just grappled an end slot and booked it over to the address. The outer façade of the building has seen better days, it was dusty, dirty and dated. To my surprise as I entered and found the door to the spa, it was clean and updated. As I entered I saw the pimpy furniture and accoutrements, it was laughable, really-​what kind of statement are you making? When I attempted to «male a call «on the princess phone the counter girls looked up in surprise and bewilderment, you’re actually «touching the props»?)
The massage itself was very basic, I liked the room, the size and the mysterious cabi with the blue lights more than the actual massage. It was delivered by a gal that was admittedly RIGHT out of massage school, and she as nervous and awkward.
As I was settling up at the counter, the acupuncturist came out and I tried to make idle conversation, to the effect that I ALSO work at a wellness center with an acupuncturist etc, and he made an awkward attempt to get me to book a session with him. I wasn’t complaining of any discomfort, but he wanted a stab, er, pin prick at me anyway. Sorry, disconnect here and epic fail. 2.5 stars for friendly counter girls, nice back rub and comical lobby.

Received a deep cleansing facial. I had immediate results. I was very pleased with the service I received. I also had a gel manicure done. The Polish lasted about 2 weeks. I recommend the facials. Friendly staff. Will definitely use them again for skin care.

Love the massages, definately will come back again.

Their old masseuse left. There were 2 of them who were not really good. The one they have now is really good. Hands of a goddess!

Got an AmazonDeal for a Diamond Tip Microderm. Came here after work and this place is amazing. It’s located is right across from Whittier Medical Center and next to ToGos Sandwhich shop. Once you walk inside the peaceful sounds of a waterfall & relaxing music makes you forget everything =)
They have other services besides facials. This place also do eyebrow waxing, bikini and underarm waxing, manicure & pedicure services. I love the microderm treatment, there’s only one person that do the treatment and she does a wonderful job. Oh, there is always a special going on so ask the receptionist on deals.
