The employee Jonathan in drive thru was rude and very unfriendly. Not only that I practically threw up my food as I found hair in my taco!!!

I have no idea what the deal is with this Jack in the Box. This review is prompted by the terrible experience I had at the drive through right now, but in general this Jack in the Box has problems. It took 12 minutes just for the two cars ahead of me to make it through the speaker. Once I got up to the speaker I sat there for a couple minutes. After I coughed, a lady said she’d be with me in a minute. After another minute of silence I was asked to order, so I said I wanted a number seven, and then nothing happened. Complete silence. A minute passed. I said«I’d like a number seven?» But silence only came in response. Then someone else’s order started coming up on the screen. I asked, «What’s going on?» No one responded to me. After it was made clear no one was going to take my order, and watching other cars in the drive through line pull away, I did the same. I sat there for a total of 15 minutes without being able to order? Before this visit, this Jack in the Box started asking for signatures when you use your card. Only thing is that their receipts aren’t set up to capture your signature, so they just hand you an extra copy of your receipt and a pen and ask you to sign it anywhere. What the shit is that? I felt really weird about doing it, which is a testament to flawed human psychology. Why did I feel like I couldn’t say no and just drive off? The situation felt sketchy, but I don’t think identity theft is that simple. Anyway, weird business. I drove to the Jack on Carmenita and Telegraph and got immediate service. The one on Whittier Blvd can suck it.

We have visited this location for many years and I can see how the quality of food and service is going down, but prices are going up and up. The last 3 or 4 times thru the drive thru our orders were completely wrong to the point that we get water for soda and egg roll for chicken strips and to top it off we drove away, found out came back to exchange the food and the store manager seems not too happy about exchanging the food and did not offer an apology. Really back experience in fact I stopped coming to this JERKINTHEBOX

Mostly come here for quick .99 cent taco fix. But on a couple of occasions in an attempt to get smoothies, they’re never available. Went for what I thought would be a quick breakfast. Seeing that the driveway was long I decided to walk in. Bad idea. My order took FOREVER! Despite those incidents employees are always friendly.

I’ve never had issues at a Jack-in-the-Box before, but after today, I will not return… especially not to this one. Not only did they get my order wrong, but the cashier, Ronette, stiffed me on my change and when I attempted to correct her, then she got attitude with me and was talking to another employee about me and accusing me of lying and trying to short change her drawer. I used to work in food service and I would never have been so disrespectful in front of/toward a customer. She better thank God I’m not from corporate and/or a secret shopper.

I have ordered take-out and I have dine-in before here as well. The ladies who run the register are nice. I did not find the manager nice. He seemed like he was kind of mad at the time my fiancée ordered a shake after our meal. The place looked clean on a Sunday afternoon. Not too many people. I like how they have the hot sauce, ketchup and napkins at the tables in a little basket unlike other JITB locations that I have been to. Last weekend I dined in and ordered a Buttery Jack combo. Instead of regular fries, I had curly fries. Instead of a fountain drink, I ordered a regular coffee. Everything tasted as expected. I also noticed one of the employees opened and held the door open for an old man in his wheel chair as he exited. That was nice. I do not mind eating here again some day.

Great place to dine in Open only till midnight Some people miss it because Jack in the box’s light outside doesn’t work but it’s worth the turn around(soon to be fixed) I wouldn’t recommend coming after 11:50p this jack in the box in particular closes early so shakes and smoothies are sometimes out of the question. Staff is friendly as long as the customer is friendly in return… They do try to satisfy any accommodation or order specifications for the most part their order accuracy is a 9.5÷10 Wide parking lot Family and children friendly ********They no longer have a .45 fee for credit card transactions******** This Jack in the box is also regular hours are Monday through Sunday 6am-Midnight ******NOT A 24hr restaurant*******

The food was really good. Everything was well cooked and the workers were very polite. I went through the drive thru there were a few cars there but still went pretty quietly.

So today, I got into an argument with an employee named«Rail». This 1 star is not aimed at jack in the box, but at Rail, but he is an employee and he represents jack in the box, so sadly I have to give a one. I came with my bike, left it outside, and ordered one drink. As I went outside to check on my bike, I returned back to get a refill, but Rail, didn’t let me. He said once I left the restaurant, I wasn’t allowed to get a refill. Uhh, I didn’t even leave the property(parking lot) so why am I prevented to get a refill. He then stated it was a policy, but honestly how was I supposed to know? If it is, it should state on the menu next to the drink, that once you leave, you cannot get a refill. So I argued with him so that I can get my refill, and he kept referring to this policy. It is unfair that I didn’t know, and even told him to show me this policy. Apparently he didn’t have to, so how was I supposed to believe him? Then he told me to call the corporation, so I was, but my phone was giving me problems and only had my iPod touch, but with wifi I was able to call. So I asked him, is there wifi? He said yes, but when I checked, it must have been off because I couldn’t find it. I even checked on my phone and no wifi. We argued some more, and his co workers came to see what was the problem. They admitted the wifi was down, but Rail still tried to argue with me. Then once another customer had arrived, he had to end this argument, so he told me to get my refill but to never return again. So I am being«banned» because I wanted a damn refill? He is just an employee, and he swears like he is the boss. This RAIL needs to face some consequences, and I hope the manager/supervisor reads this. I don’t want him fired, as he appeared in his 40’s so this may be his only job, and with the unemployment rate rising, but he does need to maybe have a talk with the manager/supervisor as he is making the place look bad, and maybe take a one week suspension break. Sorry Rail, but you NEVER disrespect a customer, you never argue with them and prevent them a damn refill, especially argue over a refill. Freedom of choice, freedom of consequence.

This was a surprisingly disappointing experience. Every other Jack in the Box is doing the right thing by their customers. This one is definitely not. I ordered food via drive thru and it was as if I had disturbed the employee, Teo from his break. He was irritated and came off quite rude. I have not experienced this kind of attitude in a long time. He needs to go back to training and learn to bring out his inner gentleman. Drinks and tacos sound like a pretty easy order to me. Next time I’ll keep driving…

My daughter is very pregnant and has taken a very serious liking to JIB. She sent me on a food run yesterday and I have to say that this is the friendliest location I’ve ever visited. Management was polite and the cashier told me to «Have a beautiful day!» which I thought was really nice! My order came out quick and all the little extras that my daughter requested(lettuce, ranch and pickles) were right on top! Oh and the coke I ordered myself was icy and the calibration was perfect!

This is the WORST Jack in the Box I have EVER been to! It was so small, super dark, nobody was there. tiny cash register. 1 Star for the guy being nice behind it. I placed my order, and asked for some ranch(as I always do, to put on my tacos), and the guy tells me they charge for ranch?! Are you kidding me?! I go to J in the B often enough to know that’s ridiculous! I was so angry, and MADE him give me my free ranch! Unbelievable! Next time I’m in the area, I’m DEFINITELY not going to that JB.
