Herbie’s Active Nutrition

Great place to go for health food and supplements. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Large selection of everything under the sun. Good parking now as well in their newer location.

My favorite new nutrition place. Came here for the first time to buy a few quest bars and came out with two boxes and will be going back for more. One of the workers, tall Caucasian male, was very nice and helpful. I will definetly come back. I’m glad I found this place.

I am so glad I live in Whittier because I can go to this shop.
Staffs are always friendly and nice. I can purchase the workout outfits I need here, pick up some supplements and whatever else you may need before hitting the weights!
Love that they keep you updated on when the LVFT apparels come in also.
Great for Vegans because they have a lot of proteins and snacks/​nutrition bar options, even vegan BCAA’s for all of my vegan gain needs.
Can’t wait to go in tonight for some more awesome things :)

This place is wonderful the dude working was super knowledgeable and patient today! He helped me with all my novice questions and I really left understanding much more then when I went in… I have to give this guy a shout out lol :) and the store I felt was reasonably priced and organized well. The only disappointment of the day was the fact I forgot to buy my shaker cuz I was to entertained to remember the main reason I went in lol! Really going to be a regular here I’m very happy

Great place. Excellent selection matched with excellent service. Ask for Chris when you go he matched me up with great protein and protein snacks. Can’t wait to try this new stuff out. Thanks Chris.

Found this place while going to the Dunkin’ Donut drive-​thru, couldn’t miss the A-​frame sign saying ‘Now Opened’. No outside sign yet, store opens Jan. 2015 & with that said, Herbie’s Naturals #2 next door is a ways off from opening. Reminds me of a typical supplement store with store walls filled with protein powders, pre-​workout fuels, shakers, bars, active apparel, etc. Definitely a one stop shop for active lifestyles. This shop is conveniently placed between two gyms and ironically sandwiched between two donut shops, haha.
I wanted to buy something, anything, but I was already stocked on protein powder and some pre-​workout supplements but something else caught my eye. Protein packed peanut butter with heart healthy chia & flax seeds. The guy at the counter, Ramon, was very helpful by informing me more about the product while also comparing it to similar ones. Apparently I don’t know everything so he educated me and also let me know if I referred anyone to the store he could definitely help them targeting any dietary needs, which I’m assuming to go hand-​in-​hand with an active lifestyle. Product was priced a bit more than I expected so if you don’t see a price, ask. This place will compliment Herbie’s Naturals #2 well, if you’re familiar with the original Herbie’s on Painter. So glad to have Herbie’s a bit closer to East Whittier, location and convenience is key!
