I have a few favorite donuts. I will always try one or two of those flavors at a mom and pop shop if they are available at the time. Walked into Grand Donuts early one morning. The shop was filled with people (probably regulars) which is always a good sign. There display cases were filled as well. No gourmet doughnuts here. Purchased a custard filled chocolate donut. There was enough Bavarian custard in my donut to make me happy.
Based on this one experience, I may return to try other donuts. Service was friendly. Nice 4 star donut shop.
