Gerald P Roodzant, DDS

My teeth are very sensitive and therefore over the years I have developed a fear of dentists because dental work is a very painful process for me. Dr. Roodzant was very gentle and allowed the additional time and shots necessary to be sure I was really numb before proceeding with the work. The fillings were in a difficult to access spot and they turned out beautifully. The hygienist on an earlier appointment was also very accommodating working around my sensitive to cold teeth. I’m actually looking forward to going back for my next cleaning — also a first. Definitely recommend him.

Wish I could put more stars on this thing. LOVE, LOVE Dr. Roodzant and his staff always so warm and welcoming. I relocated to another area, so I will not be able to come back to him. But, if your looking for a great denisit in the Whittier area you will be very pleased with Dr. Roodzant!!!

After going to numerous dentists, I finally found one who truly cares. My mouth was full of metal crowns. I now have beautiful white porcelain teeth throughout. No more bleeding gums. My teeth are now the best part of my body. I’ve going to Dr. Roodzant for 10 years. I just referred my son who broke his front tooth. I called late Saturday at his alternate number and was surprised that he came to the phone. He scheduled an appointment for 9:00 Monday to see my son. The cosmetic work of this dentist is truly first class.

Dr Roodzant, Jennifer and the rest of the team are great! I’ve been coming to them for over 15 yrs., even when I moved far away from the area. They have been great to work with and helped me get past my bad experiences from when I was young.
I highly recommend them!

Dr, Roodzant has a very professional staff and the office is run like clockwork. It is so nice to go to a doctor who is always on time! Mine time is valued as much as theirs… what a pleasant

I have had such bad dental experiences in the the past. Gerald Roodzant and staff are honest and extremely efficient with the latest technologies. He will be honest with needed treatment and not try to upsell you. If there was a 10 star rating it will be well deserved!

My Wife and I have been going to Dr. Roodzant for years. In our opinion he and his staff are as good as it gets. When we walk in we are greeted by name by office Manager Jennifer, and it is rare to have to wait. Hygienists are the front line of any dentists office and Maria and Lisa are both great at not only their jobs as hygienists, but also as our dental conscience ALWAYS reminding us to brush and floss and how to do it. Now on to the main Event, Dr. Roodzant. Over the years I have been to a lot of dentists and am very grateful that my wife found this one, who will hopefully be our last (Live Long Dr. Roodzant). The current state of dental technology is amazing and Dr. Roodzant has it all. I recently had a crown replaced and the new crown was made right in the office and there was no need for a temporary and second visit. The whole process was pain free. My comfort is always a priority to the staff I can tell because they always ask. If this review sounds like a commercial, it should. It is rare to find someone, even in the medical profession, who really cares about what they do and how they do it. His standards are high, and it shows and I am glad they are high. I also have called on a holiday and had Dr. Roodzant personally answer the phone. I would recommend Dr. Roodzant to anyone.

I’ve been going here for the past 2.5 years and all experiences have been great. They take awesome care of me and have always treated me with competence and professionalism. I recommend Dr. Roodzant.

Dr. Roodzant has literally cured my dental phobia! I used to cry every time I went to the dentist… I had been experiencing severe pain for years and my previous dentist could not figure out what was causing it… i went to Dr. Roodzant after my friend referred me and walked out of there pain free… he is nice, compassionate, and takes the time to explain what he is doing which definitely puts my nerves at ease… he is amazing!

On Wednesday at about 5:00 P.M., I crashed on my mountain bike. As a result, I knocked out one of my front teeth. Although the time was well after regular business hours, I called Dr. Roodzant’s after hours phone number. To my surprise he answered the phone. I certainly didn’t expect this from someone in the healthcare field. Although I was in a panic he put my mind at ease, and set up an appointment for the next day. I arrived at 10:30 A.M., and I was in a dental chair by 10:40 A.M. To make a long, painful, toothless story short, I was out in no time with a new crown. Great job! No more whistling when I pronounce any words with the letter S. My family, numerous friends and I have been going to Dr. Roodzant for about 12 years now. In that time we have been nothing but satisfied with him and his office staff. I give him two teeth up!
As far as the review by Irving, G., I find it hard to believe that he would have experienced anything but satisfaction with Dr. Roodzant. His review of this dentist is completely foreign to me. This is not the Dr. Roodzant that we know. Oh well, you can’t please everyone.

I went to him once on the recommendation of a friend and thought he was fine, so I told my wife to take my son there when he injured himself and needed to be seen by a dentist.
After the horrible experience my wife says she went through, my family and I will never again set foot there.
I cannot reccomend this place to anyone else.
We will also be filing a complaint with the department of consumer affairs and the dentistry board.
I gave him 1 star because i am required to… not by choice.

Such a nice office staff and Dr. Roodzant is awesome! Our whole family are fans!
