I found out about these carpet cleaners on Groupon. I called to see if my residence is within the area for which they were taking Groupons as they were only offering the discounted price within 15 miles or so from their Whittier home base. I received a text back (I like when businesses text me!) saying that I was outside of the area before asking how many rooms I wanted cleaned. Upon my response, the «mystery texter» indicated he/​she would honor the Groupon price for the rooms it included and quoted me a great deal total for everything… YES!!! I was already impressed!
I went online to schedule my service date (very easy to use!) and was sure to indicate the price the «mystery texter» quoted me. I received a confirmation email which I especially appreciated so I didn’t have to stalk them to ensure the carpet was ready for OCD Mom’s visit.
The day of the scheduled service, I received a text from Fernando (F in F&L, I imagine) saying he was having truck issues and was unsure if he could make it that day. I responded by asking that he please try — I had no other day that week to be home for him (I took the day off) and I needed the carpet done that day. An hour or so later, he texted again with an estimated time of when he could leave the repair shop and be at my house — YAY! It was about two hours later than the scheduled appointment, but I didn’t care.
Fernando arrived and was very apologetic about being late. I wasn’t trippin — I was glad he was there! He has a great smile and friendly demeanor and seemed immediately trustworthy to me. (I’m normally a pretty good judge of character, for the most part.) I showed him the rooms to be cleaned, offered him a bottle of water, and went back to the cleaning the garage. He came out every so often for supplies and to ask questions and tell me about certain spots that he used some color (I know nothing about this) to try and restore to the natural color. He even asked if I wanted him to move large pieces of furniture to clean more area… Sears never offered that! After he cleaned the carpet, Fernando informed me that they could set me up on a regular cleaning schedule of my preference and he would honor the price he charged me that day. I didn’t set this up but I like that the option is available.
Exceptional prices… awesome service… professional text correspondence… I WILL use F&L again!

After looking thru the list of options on Groupon I researched each company. F&L’s excellent reputation stood out. I just had my carpet cleaned today & felt I should share my experience. Fernando was prompt, professional, & knowledgeable. He was mindful of the furniture & carefully completed the work. My carpet needed TLC & I appreciate the service this company delivered! Will definitely be calling on them again & referring to friends & family. Thank you!

I get my Carpet cleaned every 6 months and have been using different companies because I haven’t found one that I really liked. But Fernando did an amazing job… very thorough and he even left me a little bit of the stain remover to use when my puppy has an accident. I finally found a company I can stick with… I’m a happy customer

Bought a groupon for my carpets to be cleaned, read the reviews and felt this company was quite reputable, reasonably priced and did great work. I am completely satisfied. My experience with them has been great. Scheduled the time according to their online calendar, received an email confirmation & reminder and most importantly, they showed up on time & did great work. Completely satisfied and would definitely use them again.

Fernando did a terrific job on my carpets and even cleaned the arms of my couch as an added bonus for free! I purchased a Groupon and had no trouble scheduling an appointment online. It is very easy — you can see what availability they have and pick the day and time that works for you. After they review it, they will email you a confirmation of your appointment. I got that email pretty quickly. He has a lot of clients because he does a super job, so you might have to schedule a week or more out. He can add you to a wait list if you want to wait and see if there are any cancellations earlier. I will definitely use his services again. Groupon or not, Fernando is friendly, professional, and gives a great return for what you pay.

My daughter was moving and I purchased a $ 59 Groupon for this company 2 months in advance. Every time she tried to schedule, they denied her. They maintained time after time that there was no room in the schedule. Why should they clean her carpets? The job was already paid for.
This to me is a red flag. Someone coming into your home, MUST be trustworthy. What does this set of facts say about this company’s trustworthiness?

I needed my carpets cleaned BAD! I saw a groupon deal and thought what a great deal! I looked on Unilocal for reviews and thought yup! I’m buying it! When I finally called to set up an appointment to my disappointment they were booked solid almost 2 months! I understand though he must have sold lots of deals. I had called and got his voicemail but on the voicemail it said you can schedule the appointment on their website you can email or text them too. I scheduled my appointment online and received confirmation. That’s the last I heard from them so I started getting nervous the day of our appointment so I texted them to confirm our scheduled appointment and got a response back right away saying yes– I was the schedule! Fernando showed up and cleaned my carpets! My carpets are old so there were are some stains that he couldn’t remove they have been there forever. I was extremely happy with the outcome! I would use F&L again!

Even though they are so busy, they do get back to you. Just leave a message.

Got group in deal for 5 rooms. Even though it was kind of hard to get a hold of Fernando. After he showed up he moved the furniture and help clean the carpet under the furniture. Over all he did a great job and didn’t charge me extra fees like other carpet cleaners do. Fernando is very nice and hard working I would recommend him to a friend.

Very professional. Did an excellent job. Will definitely use them in the future. Much better pricing than my previous company.

I had a good deal from social living for F&L. I set up appt with Fernando who did a fantastic job cleaning my carpets, getting rid most of the stains I have had trouble with in my house. I would definately recommend him for carpet cleaning.

Fernando is great and professional. Always so prompt in responding to my inquiries. My husband was home when he came to clean our carpet and it takes A LOT to impress my hubby. He was sooo happy with his customer service and our carpet is sooo clean now. Did our whole house and threw in a hallway for us. Will def use again for upholstery and carpet cleaning.

Wonderful cleaning job, and most importantly no attempts to upsell, no pressure to add on other items such as pre-​treating etc. I will never use any other carpet cleaners in future, it was such a delight to have such professionals. They were on-​time, thorough, and most importantly, no pressure.

Had our carpets in our 2 bedroom condo cleaned before tenants moved in. F & L did a great job. Carpets looked new again. Their prices are extraordinarily less than most companies I researched. No surprise cost. Very friendly. We will certainly be using them again in the future.
