Staff here is nice but food is terrible. Ordered a California burrito and two sopes nasty. None have taste but you can come for the natural juice of carrots and orange juice that was good fresh squeezed

If I could give this place negative stars I would waited for 15 minutes and not a single employee acknowledged me dirty floors also save your $$ go elsewhere

Food is ok I like the tortillas and a few plates. But the service is suuuper slow, I been there a few times and always had to wait a long while for my order.

Worst service ever! Food is tasteless. No one speaks English. Just a horrible experience.

Foods always good and the taste is amazing. I only go for the Birria and quesadilla. Also the cucumber water is delicious. The only downfall is that random solicitors come inside to sell stuff or ask for donations. I hate getting interrupted when I eat.

Do not go to this Restaurant ! Worst customer service. They r too slow. Took them 45 min to bring me my food. Waitress don’t know what they are doing. Oh b by the way the customer has to write there name on the waiting list they won’t do it for you. I order some sopes with rice and beans n they were flavor less, no sour cream, rice was hard and beans taste like burnt. Never coming to this place again. !!!

Service is a little slow but the restaurant was busy today. Last time I was here, they didn’t have several of our orders to cook. For example, I asked for eggs and ham, they had no ham. My guest asked for a Tecate Lite, they didn’t have any or any of the Lites I should add. The food makes up for most of it. It is good. If you buy a child a eggs and a side of meat, be aware that because of the size portion for children, the meat tends to be drier.

Skip this place! Service was super slow this morning for breakfast. 2 of the 4 plates we ordered came out early and then my daughters and my plate came out 25 minutes later when they were all done eating. The food was not even worth the wait, the rice tasted old and reheated from the days before, the beans were tasteless. My huevos rancheros came in some watery broth instead of an actual salsa. The food was so bland.

Food was alright. Service was not too great. Took an extremely long time for our food to come out.

I’ve been here multiple times on my lunch break and i can tell you. I have never been disappointed. This place specialist in Birria which is really good, tender. The menudo is the best here. I love their molcajete salsa with chips, they also give you a green salsa along with the chips. If you want tacos, mariscos, and other kind of food go to a Mariscos place or taqueria. The place it self is decorated as a traditional place as it would be in Mexico. Tortillas hechas a mano. About people complaining that they take too long. Its weird bc i go on my 1 hr lunch break and how do i go back on time.

Came to eat with my parents and kids. It’s really hot in there my kids Are sweating my mom is almost passing out because of the heat. You can not even enjoy your food. They don’t come and ask if you need refills. It’s not that good, bad service and really hot in there. Don’t recommend this place

My grandmother had passed away about a week ago. We had the funeral service a Rose Hills and my uncle invited everyone out for lunch. Thanks uncle Pat for picking up the tab. We got to the place, a hole in the wall, no prob. for me. as long as the food is good and we get good service. Both didn’t happen. We orders our drinks, took a little long to come out, not a big deal. the food took forever, I thought they forgot about us. My nephew went up to a waitress and asked her why our food was taking so long, this waitress had the nerve to tell him «because we had a big ass party» no apologies, just «because you have a big ass party» my wife and I had the Birria, sucked. The only bright spot was our waitress, very humble and apologetic. I would not recommend this place.

When I try a new Mexican place I always get the carne asada plate and see how it goes from there. The last time I was there I had the pork chile verde and it was just I needed.
The freshly made tortilla are always awesome. My boys love their hard shelled tacos and my wife enjoys her enchiladas.
One word of advice if you are coming here… be prepared for a really laid back, take your time meal. If you are in a rush, you’re going to run late.

I would give this place no stars!!! So disgusted with the big ass bandage she just found in her cocido soup she just brought home I’m so glad I didn’t eat any but to see what they found ugh so gross

Stop by for an early dinner Saturday it was pretty much empty the waitress was rude but still took our drinks order 10 minutes go by. She takes our food order I order a carne asada plate and no drinks yet! Food comes and still no drinks… My carner asad was so nasty the meat had no flanor nor salt beans the same way rice worse it wash hard like old rice. No drinks… I told her if I could order something else her response was for what all the food in the kitchen taste the same then she said let me take your plate. Still no drinks. I will not recommend or go back to this place is dirty and they do not care worse place ever

This place may not look so hot on the inside, but the food is
DELICIOUS! Homemade corn tortillas! Super soft & moist! So good!!! The Birria is awesome! My favorite as well as the Chile verde!
I highly recommend if you love real Mexican food! !

I came to try the Birria de Chivo. As others have commented it’s really authentic and left me wanting more! The meal came with 3 XL handmade corn tortillas which really pairs well with the Birria. It lost one star due to the men’s bathroom. It’s wasn’t clean and in need of a paint job to cover up all the tagging. I plan to cater the Birria at my next house party!

This place is great love the hand made tortillas and food is great.

I have been here a few times and the food has always been good. Not the best, but good enough to return. It is hard to find a good birria spot that know what they are doing. Decided to come today with my folks and some of my family and friends. Kept telling everyone to get the birria, I kept raving about it. Wow! Was I totally disappointed today. I ordered the costilla birria with rice and beans and what I got was a whole lit of bones and gristle. Maybe two or three chunks of meat. I’m not expecting an insane amount of meat but a little more then what I got. The fresh made tortillas are awesome and they make a good pepino agua fresca.
Maybe it was cause we came later in the day and they were running low or maybe they are skimping. Whatever the reason, I will think twice about coming back.

Good food, great service. What more can you ask for besides their home made corn tortillas and delicious birria. Nom nom nom.
