Quoted one price by employee in store, including tax, with company check and he went out to talk to owner sitting in car and then came back in and changed the pricing. The woman that identified herself as the owner tried to explain that employee said something different… she was incorrect, No bueno, avoid this business they do not honor their word

Only shop here if you don’t have anything specific in mind and are willing to walk out with whatever they currently have on the floor. Prices are cheap, and the used furniture is ok quality wise.
Do not-​I repeat, do NOT-​order from this lady unless you don’t actually need your furniture in any decent time frame, and don’t mind a few months of arguing, lies, putting up with excuses and horrible customer service in order to get what you paid for.
My husband and I had moved into the area and were looking for a computer desk and a couple of night stands. Angie had a computer desk that we snapped up right away, but zilch on nice night stands, so she showed us some catalogs and told us she could order whatever we wanted at a discounted rate for us. We thought, great! and we picked out two beautiful chocolate colored night stands that would go perfectly with the rest of our bedroom furniture.
She let us know that it could take up to four weeks to get the delivery in, but offered to give us some free pillows and pay the sales tax for us to sweeten the deal. We weren’t in a particular hurry, so were ok with the wait.
What we WEREN’T ok with was that after four weeks, we hadn’t heard anything from Angie, and when we called to check in, it took forever to hear back from her. She pulled out all the stops for us… We got the runaround, excuses, blame shifting, lost order (!!!), and eventually had to walk in to get it sorted out.
Long story short, it took five months to get our furniture, that we had already bought and paid for in full, mind you, to the store. To the store. Not to our house, not to our door, not in our bedroom. To the store. We had to drive over ourselves and argue with the owner, then wait while she tried to find our order form, which had conveniently been misplaced, to verify that we actually didn’t OWE her any more money, and load it in the car and bring it home ourselves.
I don’t say this lightly. I hate this store. Like other people have mentioned, I wish we could give negative stars, but the only reason I’m ok with leaving 1 star is because we were able to pick up that computer desk right away.

I wasn’t planning to submit a review, but in light of the bad reviews, I thought I’d share our experience.
We were shopping for a twin bed for our daughter’s dorm. A to Z had the best prices. The salesman gave us a quote that was incorrect (too low), but Angie sold us the frame and mattress at the quoted price. The bed was late getting to us, but Angie expedited the transfer. I assembled the bed, but discovered that it was white metal instead of the black we had ordered. Too late to return it as my daughter needed a place to sleep. She was okay with the error.
I mentioned it to Angie a few days later. She explained that the black was out of stock and only white was available. She offered me an ottoman storage for free but since my daughter needed a bookcase, she gave me a bookcase! For free!

After a very frustrating and unusual few months, I was finally able to pick up my refund. I get that this place is a «mom & pop» as the owner called it. but there’s no reason to take full payment on something you can’t get right away. Not only that, but I believe honesty is key when it comes to business. Nobody wants the run around. Even though I got my refund, I would still advise people to go else where. Avoid the excuses, the avoided phone calls, & wasted time.

Ugh. I am beyond frustrated. I wish I would have read these reviews before I spent over $ 1500. I have been waiting over 3 weeks for my delivery. I purchased 2 bedroom sets (the WHOLE sets) and an additional twin bed. I got one bedroom set 1 day and SOME of the other bedroom set another day. One dresser was missing a handle. I STILL have not been able to get the darn handle from them! I am still missing a dresser to one of the bedroom sets. It is SO hard to get ahold of Angie. Every time I call to ask about my order I am told that Angie will give me a call back. Is she the only person that know what’s going on over there?! She gets back to me the next day with and every time she call me back my order gets pushed back another week and a half AND I can’t even get them to give me a handle from the dresser they already delivered!!! The servie AFTER you make your purchase is HORRIBLE. I don’t think I’ll be going back there again.

First of all I’ve never written a review like this before and hope that I will never have to again. I want to say if I could I too would give a negative 3 rating or lower if I could. I totally agree with all the 1 star raters. I especially feel akin to Sarah K. This was the worst experience with buying furniture EVER! I bought my house 8.5 years ago and the entire home buying process was horrendous but you know what? I’d rather go through the home buying process 10 x’s over before I would ever step a foot in this store again! As a matter of fact I would advise any potential furniture buyer to run not walk past their store so that you won’t get sucked in by Angie’s shenanigans. In my opinion the only saving grace for this store is Kevin. He’s a doll and probably the only real person working there. Angie… ummm not so much. It took me about 5 months to finally get a living room sectional from this place and it wasn’t even the one that I originally ordered but after delivering the wrong leather black sectional and trying to convince me it was the one I ordered I thought «these young guys must be color blind because the sectional I ordered was SAGE» and it was material not leather. I do not like leather furniture in my home! There were numerous cancelled deliveries missed delivery dates and finally Angie told me that the set I ordered was no longer available something to do with the changing of codes in their catalogue so I went ahead against my better judgement (I fell for the ol we’re just a mom and pop shop this never happened before but now I see that it does happen on a regular) I went for another green set to match my already painted walls to match my original order. Besides she already had my money. Long story short Angie promised to make it up to me by giving me $ 100.00 store credit. Which at first I turned down but she was insistent. she said she didn’t want an unsatisfied customer (too late). So with her help I chose a coffee table and guess what, as recently as last week, I called her I left a message and she has not returned my call and at this point after writing this review she couldn’t GIVE me a coffee table. Not only am I an unsatisfied customer I’m sooo disappointed that I trusted this person and I guess that’s what I get for not cancelling my order 2 weeks after I paid off my order and didn’t get what I paid for. So I still don’t have a coffee table to go with my so so living room sectional… umm maybe I should go to some high end store. Yeah maybe I’ll go up the street and go to Big Lots I’m sure I’ll get better service at least I’ll get what I buy :) BTW why is this store still in operation???

My wife Tiana and I just moved to Whittier and we were really looking for a bargain furniture store with decent quality pieces. I was on the road one day and I prayed to God, asking Him to point me to a good place to buy. I almost immediately saw AtoZ to my left so I stopped in. The service was wonderful. They were very attentive. I was very impressed with the furniture quality/​price ratio I found there! They are liquidators and a lot of their stuff is refurbished second hand, although they do carry new (new usually requires them to order the items). I bought a coffee table, two end tables, a couch and a love seat set, and a maple wood chest for about 1200. The only thing they had to order was the sofa and I asked if they could rush it. They did and it got there the day they said it would, about 5 days later. To be fair, I can understand people’s frustration when things don’t arrive on time, but I didn’t have that issue. I figure, if I’m buying from a place that’s dirt cheap and not big time, like living spaces, I may have to put in some extra work. I didn’t mind that I had to pick up my sofa, and to make sure it arrived at their warehouse, I didn’t wait for Angie to call me. I called on the day they said it was supposed be there to make sure. If you’re getting a great deal, more times than not, you’re going to be carrying some of the work load. If someone doesn’t deliver their product on time and you can’t wait, get your money back. Don’t let your kids eat off the floor for four months and then blame it on Angie/​the store that stiffed you for your $ 800 dining room set. (This is a response to another review) Not trying to be mean, but get your money back. Anyway, the stuff they have there is pretty nice. If you’re looking for cheap, same day, probably refurbished pieces, this is a great store! If you don’t mind spending more money and you’re looking for amazing service in every respect where you won’t have to do any work at all, go to a big name furniture retailer. Overall, this place has nice people, great prices and I had a great experience with them. Hope this helps.

Let’s see where to begin. … lol ok we moved into the area a couple months ago. We got rid of most of our older furniture and told Angie this. So we bought our dining room table here. She told us that it would b in the store in two weeks since she had to «order it». I wished I would’ve Unilocaled the store before I went thru all this nightmare.
Okay so the two weeks passed. .I called to see if I could pick up my dining table and chairs. Nothing! She didn’t even know who I was! I guess this happens allot. So I give it another week. Nothing! Another month. Nothing! At this point I’m so irritated with «Angie» I don’t even want to see her face!
I tell my husband that I’m just going to wait to get a call from her when she’s ready to give me my dining room table which my husband bought for 800 bucks! I never got a call.
It was 4 months later that I decided to go in that store to see when she was going to have my damn table. It wasn’t ready. Lol wth is wrong with this lady ?
I seriously was so upset because I felt like she lied to us this whole time and stole 800 dollars from us. I had my family eat on the floor and in the living room for 4 months because of this lady.
I didn’t say anything to her after my husband saw my face lol he asked for our money back. She said that she would have the table in tomorrow. She also offers free delivery and installation. My husband told her all we wanted was the table. The next day came and finally we had our table. We didn’t take her delivery offer or installation. It would’ve probably gotten lost in the way! Lol
We were going to buy the rest of our furniture there however that four months wait for a table and chairs really turned me off. I bought my living room set, bedroom set, kids bedroom set, computer desk, book shelf, tv console cabinet, at Livingspaces. They have really nice furniture, next day delivery, and free Starbucks coffee lol

Great customer service. Awesome furniture… They helped us so much… If you are looking for chairs, tables, bed frames, mattresses. and are looking for a great deal look no further… A to Z goes above and beyond…

This store is a MESS! I agree with what everyone says here about this place. The owner, Angie has to be the most unorganized, unprofessional business owner I’ve ever dealt with.
The product is alright. Price is cheap but you get what you pay for.
I will DEFINITELY NOT go back and buy from this store again.

Worst furniture buying experience ever. Also agree with all the one star Unilocalers that this store warrants negative stars. We should’ve known this was a bad deal from the start as the store owner gossiped loudly on the phone for 20 minutes before helping us.
Angie, the owner, promised the item that we purchased, upfront and in cash, would arrive in a week. Two weeks came and went with no follow up from her. We called. She offered free delivery and set up to compensate and said we should get the item next Monday. Monday came and went. No follow up from Angie. We called. She said the delivery guy had the flu and he would deliver the next day. The next day still no furniture. No follow up from Angie. We called and heard more excuses and more promises. When the furniture was delivered, the «delivery guys» (two young boys) said they weren’t going to set up furniture. We called Angie who claimed she never offered free set up. My husband gave up and told the kids to get out then Angie miraculously remembered everything. After the long wait, after the headache, after the arguing, after the insistence of delivery and set up we noticed several remarkable dings and imperfections all over the item.
If you aren’t deterred by the headache of doing HER job and owning sub-​par product, then I encourage you to bargain. Bargain the hell out of it, don’t feel bad at all for lowballing. No matter how low you think you paid for the item, you’ll wish you never gave them anything at all. Also call every day to check up on your item because after Angie gets your money it doesn’t matter to her whether you get your furniture or not.

I saw an add in the mail and rushed to get a sofa for $ 499…The owner Angie set the order and said it will be in by a week. A week came and I gave her a call, she said it is being shipped from up north so it will be in at anytime. We continue to text each other and the sofa finally came it… It was a beauty… Angie felt so bad that it came in late that she offered me a free furniture in her store… She is super cool…

Same as above! Worst experience in my LIFE! Ordered a futon, Angie (the owner) said that it would be available and ready just in time, for my out of town guests, the night before my delivery I had to call her for the delivery window, and she informed me that it wouldn’t be available for 3 more weeks. So I scrambled to accommodate my guests, and followed up with Angie 2.5 weeks later to see what the status was for the futon, she didn’t even remember who I was or what she was supposed to order for me! So after refreshing her she said that it’s suddenly available again, I asked for a white or chocolate mattress with it, and she said that it’s no problem. So I talked to her today (my delivery day) and she ordered a black mattress saying that mattresses don’t come in those colors, then proceeded to say, «I’ll help u find a cover and work out a deal.» I found one and called her and she told me $ 99 was too expensive, she’ll find one for cheaper. Being already dissatisfied with the whole transaction she shouldn’t put a price on a mistake she made and make me feel as though I am burdening her. I have had to call her and remind her about every thing she has stated, she is the most disorganized and loopy business owner I have ever seen in my life. I don’t know how she stays afloat! Never shop here unless you want to have the worst experience in your life! The cheap price isn’t worth the headache you will get.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I wish I could give this store negative stars. It took over a month to receive any of the many items I ordered. After several phone calls and canceled delivery dates some of my furniture was delivered by a couple of teenagers in a pick up truck. Furniture was scratched, had screws missing, uneven legs on the bar stools and was overall poor quality. Owner is a fast talker and will try to sweet talk you about how they are just a Mom & Pop store. Do not fall for it, the $ 50 you may save is not worth the FRUSTRATION!!!
