Atlas Home Improvement, LLC is family owned and operated by father — son team David and Darian Bobby. The origins of Atlas date back to 1989 when father David Bobby became a licensed builder and started his handyman business — The House Doctor. History

Established in 1989.

The company was founded by father and son team David & Darian Bobby. David «Doc» Bobby was the original House Doctor handy man and developed a loyal following in Livingston County. After graduating from Michigan State University, his son Darian was offered the franchise for a Gutter Helmet dealership. After several months Darian asked his father David to become a partner in this new Gutter Helmet franchise. Imagine that, the son actually asked the father to join him when most people think it would be the other way around. Over the years, Atlas continued to grow and take on more products and services. Today they employ around 35 people and have become a multi-​million dollar business servicing SE Michigan. Business Owner

Darian Bobby lives in Pinckney, MI with his wife and three daughters (aged 6, 4 and 2) — which keep him plenty busy. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MSU, but chose instead to work in the home improvement business. He is also a Licensed Builder and owner of Atlas Home Improvement with his father (and best friend) David Bobby.
